    • It Doesn't get much simpler
I have tried multiple brands on our Well fed water system and everything clogs far to quickly. We have a spin down sediment filter before our main filter on our waterline but still always faced clogs in the premium charcoal filters. Since switching to these I couldn’t be happier. They still get dirty from the find sediment that passes through the first filter but it does not drastically impact water flow like the charcoal filters did. Our water is pumped from Lake Livingston by the water company that never passes State testing. Using this filter in combination with a charcoal filter dos not make the water good to drink but our clothes are cleaner the odor is gone. When changing the filter on a regular schedule the mud removed is proof of function. If you use a filter with a smaller micron rating it clogs quickly. We still drink bottled water but for all other uses the filter makes a huge difference. ... show more
