I have been looking for litterbox upgrades and found this model. I've used automatic boxes for years, but want to replace them because of the lingering odors in the plastic. No amount of cleaning gets it all. I was looking for stainless steel options, thinking I would loose the convenience I get from automatic boxes. Imagine how excited I was to find this! It's literally the best of both. It's constructed of stainless steel, to help combat odor and promote cleanliness. Plus, it's a top of the line automatic box. Now, I have everything I want and need in a litterbox. Out of the box, assembly was very easy and straightforward. The waste bin is easy to get to, change, and clean. I specifically enjoy that I can use regular trash bags. I don't have to constantly spring for special ones. They also included odor disinfecting packs that pop right in the inner front of the waste bin to contain and control odors. The cats were instantly intrigued. They actually tried getting in before I could even get it totally assembled. Once I set it up, they started taking turns checking it out an doing their business. So, it has fit in perfectly. The cats did not need anytime to adjust or warm up to it. There is also an app that shows frequency and weight trends. Just one touch on the app, and it can automatically clean. I find the app really helpful if I'm going to be away. It gives me a way to keep tabs and keep peace of mind. I'm glad I made this purchase. The convenience of automatic in a stainless option is a game changer for our litterbox routine.

I bought this for my elderly cat so he doesn't have to go up and down the stairs to access the other litterbox. Turns out this has a really small entry hole -- small enough that my 10 lb male cat refuses to go inside it. My younger cat also won't go in this litterbox. She weighs 12.5 lbs. and won't go near the box at all. The only cat that will go in it is my very small cat, who weighs 6.5 lbs. Very frustrating, especially for the cost. Other issues we are having with this litterbox: -- Weights are in kgs. There's an app switch to change to lbs but it doesn't work. -- Weights are not at all accurate, even with the litterbox on a wood floor or in a solid flat piece of plastic larger than the litterbox itself. This defeats the purpose of monitoring your pet's weight. -- The auto litter cleaner sets off all the time. It says it detects a 0.9kg cat and then cycles... a few minutes apart, sometimes an hour apart. I don't have a 0.9kg cat (or anything close to that). I've monitored my cats, and no one is in the room when it detects "a cat" and cycles. -- The continual cycling stirs up continual dust. -- To add litter, plan on using a 1-2 cup scoop. You will have to reach deep inside to somewhat distribute, then use the feature to spread and level the litter. -- Contacting the company means hunting them down on social media apps. They don't have a listed address or phone number in the states. I really wanted this litterbox to work, not only to spare my oldest cat's joints from the stairs, but also because this cat has difficulty with maintaining a squat position while he urinates (despite monthly arthritis shots). I specifically picked this litterbox with hopes that the cannon shape design might be more capable of containing his urine as he gradually stands up. Unfortunately, he refuses to use the litterbox. I've never even seen him peek his head inside. The opening is just too small for his comfort, despite his 10 lbs adult size.

Updating after 2 days of use. My cat has adopted quickly and is fascinated by this device. My one concern is that her pee clumps get stuck and the regular auto clean cycle doesn’t always get rid of all the poop. I deducted one star and will continue to monitor. V happy so far! Fast delivery by FedEx and the set up was a breeze. It’s v heavy. The QR code was only for Android app but I searched in Apple App Store (a moment of panic seeing Chinese characters but app is in English) so worked out. My 6 year old cat was curious looking into the tunnel when I set up then she used it this morning! I really like the stainless steel drum and this machine’s practical design so made a leap of faith for this unknown brand. Hope this lasts.
