For people who are picky about measurements - It is not 16' x 20'. I ordered two of these and measured both. The 16' sides are correct, but the 20' sides are shorter by 1' to 2'. Anyone working in the building industry can easily tell from first glance when the sails are unfolded on the ground. The quality is so-so, but might be good enough for a few years. These were meant to visually match and eventually replace my other two smaller sails which were used every summer in the desert heat and survived some seriously strong winds for the past 15 years. Finally two of the triangle rings fell off when the fabric loops wore off. This new set comes with small metal D-rings that are approximately 1/3 the thickness of my old triangle rings and about 1/2 in overall size. The fabric is much thinner than my old ones' fabric and therefore the resulting shadow beneath the sail is much more sunlit, which is good for protecting plants from the burning sun but still allowing light, while my old sails cast more solid shadows, good for achieving cooler temperatures. Oldies are goodies they say. The sturdier the products, the less people throw away, and the happier the Earth. It was pretty nice that I did not have to throw away my old sun sails for 15 years so far.

It rained earlier today and the tarp is not completely water proof but it’s really nice and good quality and the price is good too. I should have gotten the larger square sail. I ordered the 8’x12’ and I see I should have gotten a larger size. The triangle shape was put over the grill and sidewalk. These combined are conventional pieces and liked by all!!! I used the tree so it’s droopy but we like it a lot!!!!

The size of this sail is what we were wanting but it sags in the middle, unlike a different brand we also have. The beige color we purchased is more of a gold tone than a beige - we were disappointed with the color and quality of this sail. We will not be purchasing this brand again.

Extra thick, durable material. I previously had HD sun shades which still filtered light through. This blocks out the sun extremely well. Only thing is it has to be attatched securely as the wind doesnt pass through and can create a sail effect. Our back patio was up in the 110s prior to putting this up because the sun would heat the pavement and radiate it intensely through the day. It now only gets up to the 90s with this shade which is a lifesaver and makes a dramatic difference. Havent used it for rainy season yet, so stay tuned

I purchased this shade to replace a dark brown one I had for 3 years covering my back patio. It was easy to hang, the color is exactly as described, and seems to be doing well. It has stretched some, so it is a bit lower in the center than I had planned. But as long as it does not continue to stretch, I think it will be just fine.
