  • Convenient portable charger that works well as a backup option
Size: 20 FT Tesla-16A
I picked this up as a portable charging option and it has been nice to keep in the vehicle for flexibility. I like having something compact that can be stored in the trunk and used at home or taken along on trips. The included storage bag is a small detail, but it helps keep everything organized. The plug-and-play setup was simple and straightforward without needing apps or extra setup steps. The charging indicator lights are also helpful because it is easy to quickly see the charging status. The cable felt sturdy and the connector fit securely during use. I also like that it includes adapter options for different outlet situations, making it more versatile depending on where you're charging. Just keep in mind that charging speed will vary based on the outlet type being used. Overall, this feels like a practical charger to have for everyday use or as a backup while traveling. ... show more

  • Great Portable Tesla Charger!
Size: 20 FT Tesla-16A
I really like this charger. It’s well-made, compact, and very convenient for both home and travel use. The build quality feels solid, and I appreciate that it comes with both the NEMA 6-20 and 5-15 adapters so I can use it on different outlets. It charges at a good speed (16A) and has simple, clear indicator lights. The included carrying bag is also a nice touch. Overall, this is a good, reliable portable charger for my Tesla. I’m happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend it. ... show more

  • Nice level 1/2 NACS Portable Charger
Size: 20 FT Tesla-16A
This is a great portable charger that’s simple and easy to use. It works as both a Level 1 and Level 2 charger, which is really nice depending on what outlet you have available. The plug options with the NEMA 6-20 and the 5-15 adapter make it very versatile for home or on the go. Setup is basically plug-and-play, no hassle at all. It charges reliably and does exactly what you need without any complicated setup or extra features to mess with. The size is good too, easy to store in the car and take with you when needed. Overall, it’s a solid, dependable charger if you want something portable that just works. ... show more

  • Heavy-Duty Portable Charger That Is Easy to Keep Out of the Way
Size: 20 FT Tesla-16A
This is a good portable device to keep with you, especially when you are not sure when you might come across another Supercharger or other charging option. It gives some added peace of mind to have something like this in the vehicle rather than having to depend completely on finding the next charger in time. There's really no installation just keep it in the vehicle with you plug-in when necessary, it's pretty easy to use. It's a charging port just fine. What stands out is that it feels heavy duty and well built for the price. Even so, it still stows fairly easily out of the way, which matters because a charging accessory only helps if it is practical to carry with you regularly. I have not had enough long-term use with it yet to say much about durability over time, but the initial impression is that it is solid, useful, and worth having on hand as part of your charging setup ... show more

  • Good performer with one annoyance
Size: 20 FT Tesla-16A
This charger uses the NACS connector, so it works natively with Tesla Model 3, Y, S, and X, as well as newer EVs adopting the same standard. Its biggest strength is the dual charging capability, allowing for both 120-volt (Level 1) and 240-volt (Level 2) charging - just like the OEM one. In real-world use, charging performance is solid. It charges my 2024 Model Y just as fast as the OEM mobile charger, so there’s no compromise there. The cable length is also practical for most setups, giving you enough reach to comfortably plug in without constantly repositioning the car. It also includes basic LED indicators on the AC brick to show charging status, which helps you quickly confirm everything is working as expected, although I never look at them - I rely on the app to notify me. Build quality is decent overall, but there is one noticeable drawback. The charging handle/nozzle is a bit too tight when plugging into the car. It takes more effort than it should to insert and remove, especially compared to the smoother feel of the OEM connector. Over time, that resistance gets a little annoying. Overall, this is a solid no-frills mobile charger, but it's not perfect. It matches OEM charging speed, offers useful dual-voltage flexibility, and is less than half the price, but the tight connector fit is an annoyance! ... show more

  • High quality
Size: 20 FT Tesla-16A
This is a high-quality charger and I’m genuinely impressed with the materials and overall build for this price point. It feels durable and well-made right out of the box. Setup couldn’t be easier since it’s truly plug-and-play, and the indicator lights are a nice touch to quickly confirm it’s connected and charging. I picked this up as a backup charger to keep in my frunk, and it fits that role perfectly. It’s compact enough to store without taking up much space, which is exactly what I was looking for. I tested it side by side with my primary charger and it connected immediately with no issues. Charging started right away and averaged around 3 kW on a standard 110 outlet, which is identical to what I typically see. For a backup option, it performs just as reliably as my main charger. ... show more

  • Basic charger with ETL listing
Size: 20 FT Tesla-16A
Good news: the ETL listing is legitimate and I verified it in ETL’s own database which confirms that they did test this charger and evaluate it for safety. So that’s a relief given how much power is flowing through it. Past that, it’s a super basic no-frills charger. Kinda cheap feeling plastics, cheap-looking 3 LED display, nothing fancy. But these are just cosmetic issues, so who really cares? The actual NACS connector is good, but just make sure to push it in really firmly—it’s a bit snugger than the one on my Tesla-branded charger and the car won’t engage the lock and begin charging if it isn’t in fully. The button on the top of the plug handle worked first try to get the charging flap on my Model 3 to open, and the car reported 13A charge as expected, which translates to about 5 miles of range added per hour on a Model 3 Highland Performance. You’re probably not going to want that as your primary charger (although that’s about 60 miles of range if you plug it in when you et home from work and unplug when you leave in the morning), but it’s good to have for travel if you’re staying at a friend’s house or an Airbnb or something where you can plug in. Which is exactly what I’ll be doing with this: it’ll go in the included carrying case and live most of its life in the trunk of the car, but it’ll be there should I wind up needing it. Yes it’s a bit bulky, but I’d rather have it there for peace of mind. ... show more
