As with many items from China - the instructions to put the bench together is iffy at best. Also - don't bother trying to use the wrench that came with it - use a socket set and open end wrench set if you have it. It will save you a ton of headache. Once together, the bench is stable and soft. Soft is good for a home gym but I don't think the cover will take a ton of rough abrasions or wear and tear like a commercial bench would. I find anything other than the first level of a decline to be way too aggressive especially since the seat does not decline. It would hut my back too much to try and do any weight or even a sit-up in the lower decline positions. This may just be my inflexibility. It works well in the incline position although the leg braces in front are too small. I am barely able to weave my legs inside them and I am not a big guy. Others will not be able to use that feature at all. The bands that come with the bench are trash. You can toss them. If you expect to buy this bench and get in shape with no free weight using only the included bands - save your money. The folding feature is a no-go. While it folds up quickly, it does not stay folded up on it's own if you try and lean it against the wall. So folded would only be useful in a down position. And folding it back out to use can be very difficult and frustrating. I will not be folding mine. Overall a good bench for the price. A commercial quality bench would cost 5-7 times more than this bench. ... show more

    • Sturdy, comfortable, balanced and easy to assemble!
This bench is very sturdy with no signs of flex or stress with my 350 lb body and 200 lbs of weights conducting several different exercises. The legs are wide enough to not feel like it will tip over and the seat/back pad is wide enough for support and comfort but narrow enough to allow a good range of motion. Assembly is relatively easy and includes albeit crude but functional double open-ended box and Allen wrench. All hardware appears to be quality and thick for heavy-weight retention. The bench easily folds onto itself with the removal of a few pins and takes up little room for storage. This is a quality bench that can handle the weight for a fair price! ... show more

Not super cushy, but supportive. Very narrow, but they usually are. Easy to follow instructions, doesn't take long to put together. Moves easily and is easy to fold. Found it very easy to assemble. The instructions for assembly were some of the worst I have ever seen, but the assembly was simple and the finished product was well-made and rugged. The seat is fully adjustable and secure. This was easy to assemble but definitely glad that it had pictures that labeled where the parts went. It will be great to use for working out at home. I have weights and barbells and have been sitting in a chair which is not the most comfortable when trying to maneuver weights. I would be hesitant to let a very large person use. Decent weight bench, for the prices its a good value. It is fast to assemble and should last the casual at home workouts for a long time. Could be made better with a nice cushion, really easy to mod it to be better but its decent enough right out of the box.
