I liked the machine; it was a pain to assemble after using it. It took awhile, then it became easier. VERY easy to clean. My only reason for returning it was, I was getting more of a thick nectar. This was when I was NOT even using the nectar strainer attachment. I did not bother to call customer service, because from reading the reviews, including Better business bureau, the customer service is horrific. I got info from Chat GPT. I specifically did everything correct, but the juice still came out with a thick nectar consistency. Other than that issue, it’s a VERY NICE machine.

This juicer is an absolute game changer in home juicing. I've had two juicers in the past, both of which I eventually donated. They worked (only) okay, but pulp was a problem with both the different brands, getting caught and gumming up the mechanism. And they were difficult to clean, to the point that I didn't use them a whole lot because I didn't want to take the time to properly clean them each time. THIS juicer is entirely different - in every way. There are a BUNCH of great features that will keep you juicing regularly: - The compact design fits under your cabinets, does not take up a ton of counter space, and even looks nice. A winner right there! - It arrives perfectly packed (seriously nice packaging), with a simple thing that I loved - when you open the lid of the outer box each component is named on its own box, and a smaller one says "Start here." (Thank you for that.) - Instructions are straightforward and easy to follow, complete with some do's and don'ts about how to assemble, operate and even layer ingredients in the hopper. You can literally be juicing within minutes. (Have some fruits and vegetables ready before it arrives, you're gonna want to try it immediately.) - The chamber set (the operational part that presses) comes fully assembled, but with instructions about how it's done in case you want to change the strainer. (It comes with two of them, you can choose how smooth or pulpy your juice is.) The whole appliance is a snap to assemble. - The control knob could not be simpler, only "on", "off" and "reverse." (Reverse is used to relieve pressure in the chamber once juicing is complete, making it easier to disassemble.) - The hopper is large enough to put in all your ingredients (remember the layering suggestions), so there's no constant feeding. Never have I seen this before with a home juicer. - Once you turn it on (you'll hear a somewhat loud click as the mechanism engages - completely normal), it quietly (did you hear that? QUIETLY) does it's thing and immediately you'll see the juice start to dispense, and the pulp (which will be drier than you expect, meaning the efficiency of the juicer is exceptional) is expelled just as quickly. - Unlike many other juicers, you DON'T have to peel and seed everything that you put in. Citrus needs to be peeled, but apples, carrots, etc. do not. Just cut them up a bit to more easily be fed from the hopper. - And then there's this: IT'S EASY TO CLEAN!! It's a remarkable achievement in a juicer. If you're still reading this review this long, you know that I started by talking about the difficulty of cleaning other juicers. This Nama juicer can be dissembled and rinsed off/cleaned in a matter of 2 or 3 minutes. What that means is, I'll be using it much more (and far longer) than I have either of the others that I had. The included recipe book (which is done very nicely, with attention to organization, direction and color printing) is a great way to start, but it will also be a lot of fun to see what we can come up with and what we like best. As I said above, this is a true game changer in home juicers, and I am (as you can tell) extremely happy to have it. I could not possibly recommend it more highly, THANK YOU Nama for an excellent product.

The difference is night and day between the juice output of my new Nama J3 Compact Cold Press Juicer and the output of my more budget-friendly juicer (which is less than half this price). The Nama produces a higher yield of velvety smooth deliciousness that I've not experienced with my other juicer. Outwardly they resemble each other: similar design, features, operation, and size. But that's where the similarities stop. Now I understand why people are willing to spend hundreds more for high quality juicers like this one. One big reason is that fresh fruits and vegetables are expensive, and you want to extract as much of the nutrients, moisture, and flavor as you can. Here are other things I like about this product: - It has a 15 year warranty and a solid reputation for having responsive customer service. This is why people feel confident ordering this expensive juicer. If something goes wrong or a plastic or silicone part breaks, the company promises to make good. - It arrives thoughtfully and sustainably packaged with good documentation. All of the cardboard boxes can be recycled or reused to store other items. It also comes with three reusable drawstring bags that can be used as dust covers or to store other items. - It comes with two clear containers -- one to catch the juice; the other to catch pulp. (This was a nice surprise! Because it was unclear from the product description if containers were included.) - The power cord is detachable. This is always a nice feature...unless you're prone to losing things that aren't attached. - Two strainers are provided: one for velvety smooth juice and a coarser one to add in some pulp. - It's very quiet. - The hopper volume is 34 ounces. While the short hopper makes this juicer more compact/portable, if you're wanting more than 1-2 cups of juice yield, you'll need to stop and reload the hopper a few times. There is no hole at the top to load in more ingredients once you power up the juicer. - Lifting the lid while it's running automatically shuts off the juicer - an important safety feature. - The processed pulp is almost completely dry. As for how easy this juicer is to operate and clean... It's neither the simplest/easiest nor overly complicated/fussy. I recommend at least glancing through the illustrated Getting Started Guide and the Juicer Manual to make sure you know the basics of assembly, disassembly, and cleaning. For such an expensive juicer, there's a surprising amount of plastic and silicone parts, seals, and tabs that I didn't want to accidentally break through human error. That's probably the one big complaint I have about this product. If not for the impressively long warranty period, I might have given this product only 4 stars. But because I know the company's reputation and rating from other customers, I can highly recommend this juicer and give it 5 stars.
