  • I own 9 vacuums cleaners and this is the best! I own 9 vacuums cleaners and this is the best!
I purchased my Tineco S12 Plus at Christmas 2019 as a present to myself. I'm a gadget nerd and a clean freak. I have a pretty big home and my home has never been so clean. I love all the extra tools that came with the S12 Plus. I use all of them. I looked at every review I could find and the EXCELLENT HEPA filter was a big deal to me. Every test showed that there is essentially no dust coming out of the filter. The quality build is really good and the trigger lock is something I use every time I vacuum. It's a BIG deal! The auto suction works well and it's nice to be able to adjust the motor speed with the infinite finger slide. It's really nice to have the two batteries although I seldom need the second battery. It's just nice to know I have it (every so often I swap batteries so they both get used). I also like that it comes with two (2) pre-filters. I have a powerful plug in canister vacuum and I use it to quickly clean the pre-filter. I use an EGO electric leaf blower to clean the rest of the dust bin and it's parts. I use NO water. I can clean EVERYTHING and be back vacuuming in 10 minutes. I will mention that the unit I received on Christmas eve malfunctioned after a few days. I contacted Tineco customer service and they were great. They sent me a brand new motor head and a return shipping label so I could send the bad unit back to them. I have been using this replacement for about two months now and it performs perfectly. I use it all the time. I had looked at buying the Dyson V-11 but after using this S12 Plus for about two months now, I am glad I purchased this unit instead of the Dyson. This Tineco is a better value. I don't own a smart phone so I don't have a need to connect my phone to my vacuum. Actually, I think that's a really dumb idea. Everything you need is displayed right on the vacuum head. I currently own nine (9) vacuum cleaners and have owned vacuums for about 50+ years. OK....I've now owned my Tineco for almost 2 years. I love it as much today as when I wrote the above review. I use it several times a week. I use it a lot because it is so easy and convenient to use. My home is really clean all the time. Tineco's customer service is great. Last week one of the small hinge attachments broke on the dust bin. It's plastic. I called Tineco customer service and had a representative on the line in a couple of minutes. I explained my situation. They asked me to send them a photo of the broken hinge. I sent it about an hour later. Within 24 hours, I received a notice that a new dust collector was on it's way to me. I couldn't ask for better service. Thanks Tineco. Sure glad I purchased a Tineco with all the great attachments. Lets see you dust your home, your computer and TV screens with a Dyson!!!!!! 2/04/2023.... I've now had my Tineco for 38 months. I still love it just as much. I just used it a few minutes ago. Thanks Tineco for a really wonderful product! ... show more

  • Big Regrets! Big Regrets!
Update! Their warranty is as worthless as the paper it is written on. These machines are garbage and getting the company to honor their warranty is frustrating. Save yourself the time and trouble. I have been a business owner in retail and service for 30+ years. If I handled a warranty issue the way they do I would be out of business. They deny, deflect and lie. I wasn't looking for a new vacuum, but I ended up with one. I had an older Bissell "dust buster"/floor vacuum, and the wheels were getting worn. I couldn't find new wheels for it, so I started looking at options. This came up and was not what I was thinking, especially budget-wise. When I saw the self-cleaning feature, I was intrigued. I have that feature on my Roomba, and I LOVE it! So I fought with my inner cheapskate and bought it. Assembly was easy, the vacuum itself is lightweight and it has an option for two different levels of power. It is cordless; I am not a fan of being tethered to a cord. There is a pet grooming feature I haven't investigated yet. The accessories are easily changeable and going. from floor to hand-held is simple. The cleaning base is absolutely the most! I beyond love it! I thought I would have buyers remorse... NOPE! ... show more

  • Great Vacuum, Even Greater Customer Service!!
I started with a Tineco A10 vacuum sometime around 2020 and have since become a huge fan of their products. Admittedly, I was hesitant to purchase a more expensive model from the Tineco lineup like the Pure One Station because I usually feel that the fancier something is, the more things there are that could go wrong/malfunction. However, with a cat that constantly sheds and makes an absolute mess dragging litter out of his box on a daily basis--I thought the Pure One Station would be perfect to simplify my daily vacuuming routine, especially because I hated emptying the small bin on the A10. The Pure One Station has solved that problem. Is it perfect? No, sometimes things get stuck in the smaller bin (like long hair or tangled tufts of fur) but it rarely requires me to clean it out manually, aside from the recommended maintenance on cleaning the reusable filter etc. I've now owned the Pure One Station for about 6 months now, and wasn't originally planning to leave a review BUT, I decided to do so because I was highly impressed by their customer service response. About a month ago, the main unit (the handle, which generates all the suction power) on the vacuum started to malfunction. It seemed like it was no longer charging or able to turn on for whatever reason. I was expecting the repair/replacement process to be an absolute nightmare, but it wasn't!! I submitted my information through the main Tineco website, including a few photos and a short video showing the unit unable to charge/turn on. In about a day, I received an email from the Tineco customer service team and was informed by a representative named Leo that a replacement would be shipped as soon as the part became available (it was out of stock at the time). About two weeks later, I received the brand new replacement part and everything is working perfectly! It was such an easy process. Obviously, it's not great that there was a malfunction in the first place... but having owned 3 Tineco products now (A10 Vacuum, S5 Floor Washer, Pure One Station) and this being the first time in about 6-7 years that I've ever encountered an issue with their products (under heavy usage due to my cat lol), I'm very satisfied with their products. Now, I can recommend their products with the added confidence that their customer service team will take care of issues like this smoothly and quickly. Thanks Tineco! Please keep up the great work!! ... show more

  • Works really well
Over a year ago, we got 2 Neato Robotics Bot Vacs for our house. We love the little fellas and they do a great job but, they (and all robot vacs) have one major flaw, they can't do stairs. This means that we have been lugging our big Dyson up and down the stairs to vacuum them which also mean that they have not been getting vacuumed nearly enough. Also, we recently got a puppy and now there are more messes that require a vacuum and sometimes a full sized vacuum is just overkill. That's where a stick vacuum shines. We started looking at stick vacs strictly to clean the steps more often but soon realized that there are plenty of times when we need a vacuum just for a small mess. We looked at several different brands and had narrowed it down to one of the Dysons. What swayed me over to the Tineco was all of the features. This thing comes with a ton of attachments! Crevice attachments, extension wands, extra HEPA filter and battery, upholstery brush (powered!), and, best of all, a hard surface attachment. Dyson doesn't include the hard floor attachment and it's over $100. Suction- While not as strong as a full sized vacuum, this thing has plenty of suck. Also, it has a feature where it will automatically adjust the suction strength based on how much debris it is sucking up. This is great for conserving battery life and run time Maneuverability- Very agile and not hard to move around at all. The heads swivel easily and it’s pretty easy to get under things as long as they are not too low to the ground. Battery life- I can't really address this one in real world use as I've only used it for a few minutes at a time (maybe 15 min max at once). It was only down to about 84% charge after that use though. Ease of changing tools/heads- This is very easy, there is a button that you push and the tool just slips off. Putting on the new tool give a nice click when seated. Emptying the dust canister- While not hard, I did actually have to look at the manual to figure this one out. There is a button near the power switch that you push and then the dust canister lifts off. To empty it just push the button and the canister pops open. If there is a lot of debris in the upper part of the canister all you have to do is give a twist and the filter will come out allowing you to get all of the trash out. Connectivity- Yep, this thing has an app. I haven't downloaded it so I can’t address this but, it's there if you need it. Honestly, I'm not sure exactly why you need an app for a vacuum but hey, my shower has an app so maybe this is just another small piece of the coming Skynet puzzle. Hail to our robot overlords! Durability- I was really nervous about spending this much money on a brand I've never heard of but, this thing seems to be really well made. The packaging was excellent and nothing about this device feels or seems cheap. If it falls apart, I will update my review but, so far, I love this thing. ... show more

  • Waste of money, time and effort. Go to Costco.
Style: Pure ONE Station FurFree
Save your money! I promise I'm not just some angry consumer, this is our third tineco product in three years. We started off with the iFloor3, which after about a year started spewing water and would not pick it up, I figured I just had bad luck, we contacted customer service, they asked to show proof with a video so we sent them one, once he received it and verified that there was a problem with the machine he told us that we'd receive a shipping label via email and to send the product and they'll send us a new one, the label never came and when we called back, they had closed the case and "couldn't do anything further" Moving forward, I figured "hey, I really did love the tineco while it worked" so I convinced my husband to buy us the Floor one S7 Combo (which is now the switch). We used it for about 6/7 months and I was IN LOVE, until the vacuum started spewing water... Now for this one, I really tried everything to troubleshoot, I really didn't want to believe that my tineco was giving up on me AGAIN. We tried a couple of tricks and it seemed to do the job but then it would go back to spewing water, we contacted customer service AGAIN and they asked for proof again, and obviously because this was an on/off thing I couldn't provide the proof that they wanted in the time frame... Case closed, no solution again. So finally, the review you really came for, we bought the PureOne Station FurFree just a few months ago in April, within a month or two the light and the roller stopped working, we'd turn it off and on again and it was simply just hit or miss when turning on. I was initially impressed because the vacuum was light and fairly simple to move around and I trusted its ability to vacuum, we alternated it between vinyl and carpet and trusted that it was cleaning well. It entirely gave out on us last week, we called customer service and they said that it was likely a problem with the roller and the chip in the roller. However, three tineco products, thousands of dollars and three miserable customer service experiences? Just not worth it. We immediately went and got a shark power detect from Costco just because we have a one year old and when we went to vacuum we didn't realize how much dust and debris and even mites our tineco had left behind. Save your money. Go to Costco. ... show more

  • Does not compete with Dyson, clogs easily
I bought this Tineco station+vacuum to replace a Dyson v7 I've had for many years. I was very disappointed in the vacuum performance compared to the v7. I even went over the same hardwood floor and low pile carpet with the v7 after vacuuming with the Tineco on MAX setting and it picked up a considerable amount of dust. On top of this issue the Tineco clogged more frequently than the Dyson, choking on clumps of cat hair that required me to use the included pipe cleaner brush to clean out. The Pure ONE Station also did a poor job of "cleaning" out the had vacuum, and there was usually dirt and debris left in the bottom of the station bin after a clean cycle. There are some positives however: - The Tineco is well built, the stick attachment actually appears to be some form of aluminum while most other brands it is plastic. - The dust bin on the station has a good size capacity and has a one touch button to pop the bottom out and dispose of dust. - The dust detection *does* work, but there is a noticeable lag when it detects a higher content of junk to pick up, usually leaving me going over the same spot several times. - Screen is nice, looks like an OLED actually. Overall I wouldn't recommend this for $400... you can find a used Dyson V8 online for less and it will do a considerably better job. ... show more

  • Overall, great cordless vacuum
Purchased the Tineco Pure ONE S12 Plus almost eight months ago and I can say it was money well spent. Having used a variety of cordless vacuums, this one is best bay far. Pros Good battery life: I can clean almost 3,000 square feet of home (no carpet) using both the direct drive power brush and batteries. The Soft-roller power brush seems to draw less power and will go even further. I haven’t timed it but the batteries seem to recharge quickly. Easy to use: Straightforward controls and you can lock the lock the trigger on! It’s light weight and easy to maneuver around furniture. Convenient docking station: easily mounted to multiple wall types. You can charge the vacuum and extra battery at the same time. Auto adjusting suction power: It detects the amount of dirt being picked up and increases power as needed. You can manually increase power if you want. Good cleaning power: One of the best cordless vacuums I’ve owned when it comes to picking up dirt, pet hair, etc. Cons Varying quality with cleaner filters: I purchased two extra gray cleaner filters and have noticed one seems to block suction a bit more than the others which makes picking up debris like cat litter difficult. My other two cleaner filters work just fine. Small dirt bin: You will need to empty it frequently. Tube Assembly: The long tube has rapidly worn out. It fit snug at first but now is quite wobbly. I’m concerned it will become worse. ... show more

  • UPDATE!!! 3 Years Later UPDATE!!! 3 Years Later
After 3 years and almost 4 months, my vacuum is suddenly not performing as well. When I vacuum, dog hair collects behind the head! I have to go over the rug repeatedly to pick up the fur. Before, it was one pass. I spoke with Tineco and they think dust has gotten inside the motor compartment and is affecting it. I clean my filters after every use. I wash them (Tineco said that was fine), squeeze with a towel and let air dry. I got extra filters and have replaced the HEPA filter though there was no “need” to. I also gently clean the dustbin where stuff collects with a small paint brush. They said I could try a new dustbin to see if the sensor is going. But, if that’s not the case, the machine needs to be replaced. That’s a lot of money for so little time. And, there’s nothing else out there with such great battery life at a light weight. I’m torn. Sorry this is long, but it is a comprehensive review. We purchased this vacuum after A LOT of research and being disappointed with our one year old Shark Apex which kept overheating and shutting off since it was new and we had tried everything to figure out why. It seemed to pick up a lot but you had to wait for it to cool down repeatedly - frustrating. Plus, it is so darn heavy and unruly to move around. We have had a Dyson V6 for many years now and I like the vac. Does a good job on bare floors but not enough battery life to do the whole 1,000 sf downstairs much less carpet or area rugs and the price of the V12 was off-putting - an expensive stick that sucks the battery life when in high power mode. Didn’t think it would be enough to do my 1,200 sf upstairs. Even downstairs, I’ve always had to dry mop first because the battery didn’t last long enough to do the whole downstairs. Was a bit under impressed with the Tineco out of the box when I tested on my bare floors downstairs, but I clean them every other day. Sounded odd but did pick up a bit of dirt and hair from three dogs (and they’ve just started to shed for winter coats). Charged the batteries overnight and decided to test on carpeted upstairs this morning. WOW!!! Just vacuumed with the Shark a couple of days ago and was ASTOUNDED at the dirt it picked up!!! I expected the hair but not the dirt! We vacuum often and used a Bissell Big Green Machine last month! The Tineco got the baseboards immaculate with a couple of passes and the lights help you see! The only downside was I had to empty the cup so many times which really requires you take the stick off. I only took a small bag out of my stash because I didn’t think I’d pick up that much but ... holy moly!! The carpet attachment is effective and no hair clogged it. All that was left was a little dust. The floor attachment holds onto a little dust and hair which a quick swipe on a rug cleans off and vacuums up. And, if you overfill the cup by accident, the ENTIRE filter section comes out with a little twist so you don’t have to take the whole assembly off to clean it out or dig with an old toothbrush!!! I am going to have to use the filter cleaning attachment after what I picked up just this morning! AND, I still have 30% battery left!! I haven’t even touched the SECOND battery!! The battery minder is a great feature so you’re not caught unawares. But, I think I’m going to be obsessed with watching it (haha). Yes, the hard floor attachment makes a noise we don’t associate with vacuuming, but the carpet attachment sounds normal so I know it’s not the machine. And, as far as the “Auto” mode goes, it really works! You think, “This thing can’t be using enough power to pick up much because it’s not making much noise.” (I did see it go up and down in power.) But, the proof is in the bag of yukk that I have. And, no keeping track of a power cord or stopping to plug it in elsewhere! SO easy and maneuverable. Lower profile on the floor attachments than the V6. A bit heavier than the V6 but that has a small battery. I will be able to clean my whole house with these two batteries, including dusting and vacuuming the bed spreads. SO many attachments, I’m not sure I can use them all! Definitely, a win-win!!! I will update as time goes by but, if this tool lasts and keeps cleaning like this, I am a happy camper!!! ... show more
