It is a 2-3 hour project to assemble - but worth it! I have a very small apartment kitchen and could not afford to lose the space above the garbage and recycling cans, plus they were ugly to look at and there was the risk of my dog getting in them. I didn't want to mount a cabinet or shelves on the wall since I have a short-term lease, but needed more storage space. I started by sorting all the hardware and not only was it all there - they even threw in some extra pieces of each piece. I assembled the cabinet following the very clear instructions, but added a few drops of wood glue in every hole, on every dowel, and on every joined edge before screwing it together. MY ONLY WORD OF CAUTION IS BE CAREFUL AT STEP #12! When you insert the wood dowels at this step, DO NOT PUSH THEM IN HARD - just place them in the hole. I pushed hard on them and they broke through the other side, which was the top of the base. The melamine coating, or whatever it is, broke off in pieces around the hole the dowel made. It wasn't an issue towards the rear since that was under the garbage cans, but the front hole was visible on the bottom edge, in front of the tip-out bin. I used some spackle and white paint to fill it in and it looks good. I have used the cabinet for 3-4 weeks now. the tip-out hinges work great, the drawers are smooth and the doors line up very evenly. I don't know if the wood glue in every possible place helped, but this cabinet is very sturdy. I assumed I'd be throwing it in the apartment dumpster when I moved to a new home, but I think this is a keeper. I was thinking I'd swap out the garbage and recycling cans for hampers and use it in my future laundry area.

This has been a great addition to our kitchen! It did take some time to assemble, but no parts were missing and it went together pretty easily. It’s very sturdy feeling and honestly does not feel cheap at all. It was a great price point for what we needed.

It is wonderful not having a Garbage can and recycling bin wandering around ny kitchen. (My husband would move them and then never put back.) This garbage cabinet is wonderful. The perfect size for two 13 gallon containers. I love the added drawers and shelves. Putting it together wasn't too bad. Some numbers weren't listed but I was still able to figure it all out. Took me about 6 hours alone to put together and I have limited mobility. It would definitely have been faster and easier with a helper. The materials are cheaply made, the wood frequently cracked as I screwed the various pieces together, no matter how gently I did so. The right garbage door pulled right out, screws and all the 1st time I opened it. Had to use wood glue and toothpicks to refill the screw holes before putting back together. So far that has worked fine. The plexiglass windows were scratched, but that was possibly my own fault. Everything was packed well, so I am pretty sure I must have scratched it. I was ok with that as I hate clear cupboard doors and put the black glitter trim I used on my upper walls on it. Just be careful when you are putting things together. Despite the cheapness of the materials, I would absolutely buy this again. The price was very cheap. Also, it was the only garbage cabinet on Amazon that also came with drawers and the upper cupboards and shelves. We've only been using it a month. If it holds together well over the next year, I'll come back and give 5 stars. The many cracks have me just a little concerned especially as this is a high use item. Thus the 4 stars.

long assembly time, but it is a nice and sturdy cabinet. The assembly probably took me 4 to 4 and 1/2 hours alone. The instructions are not written they are pictorial but the are very clear. I followed everything step by step till the end and it worked out perfectly. I did use a power screw driver with most of the assembly but I was also careful to keep the power at a lower settings as it would be easy to damage the cabinet. some of the assembly is done upside down and it did take 2 people to flip it and stack it properly. Assembly tip...be sure to put right screws and pegs in right hole and lock them properly.

I originally had the version that didn’t have the top hutch included. I bought this one for functionality.. storage space to house coffee and creamer closer to the coffee pot. As you can see my oversized coffee maker fits perfectly! It was easy to assemble, I did it by myself one evening. It took me about an hour and half. The wood is made of what looks like particle board but it’s still pretty sturdy. I bought some small spaces air fresheners to insert into the trash bins to eliminate the garbage smell. It arrived 3 days earlier than the details at shipping. In all, I am very happy with this purchase and the price wasn’t bad either.

Used for a dog station, ended up need something bigger as I have 4 dogs and it wasn't strong enough for their kibble. Worked great for an actual kitchen, looked nice but not the best quality. Decent storage and organization, kinda heavy.

The instruction manual was amazingly and well written! It is very easy going through the process, it took me around 7 hours to finish combined in two days since I split the hours in half but it was because I took my time to do it correctly and was worth it!
