Tried to use this for a month and I hated it. The sizing is super awkward, so no bags really fit. It is so small, I was having to take it out every single day and then at that, if you needed to throw anything away that was more than the size of a baseball, I would rather just walk it outside myself than take up the space in the tiny trash can. I ended up just turning it in to the recycle can and using both sides as recycle, that way I didn't have to put any bags in it. Waste of $100. ... show more

    • What's up with the handles?

The handles to the trash can prevent you from easily pulling out of trash bag. They are located on the inside of the container so when you stuff a trash bag full of stuff, you have to play a little game of back and forth forcing the contents of the bag around the metal handle to the overall trash can. If you are using no bag for the recycling, and simply want to dump out everything, when you flip the container upside down the handle drops as you would expect... It then prevents everything from being dumped out so you have to play the same game to get the stuff to come out. That handle literally catches on everything. Also, It would be much nicer if this thing was a bit wider. I'm not sure what kind of trash bags you use, but I've gone through four or five different brands that said they were tall and skinny... None of them perfectly fit and they are substantially wider than they are tall. Either way it still works, but I feel like I'm losing space in my bags because I'm forcing everything to be in a column. ... show more

Had to get a replacement after the first one broke within weeks. The replacement broke within months, where one side won't close properly. Cans are awkwardly sized and the handles don't make much sense. Because one side remains functional after three years it keeps two stars, but I'm only writing this while looking for a better replacement. ... show more

This is so perfect. I love that its tall and slim, with compartments for recycling and for trash. It looks so much better than our loose plastic cans that were shorter and wider, took up more space, no lids, and just didn't look good. The sleek silver case looks great, and the added height provides more volume and makes up for the narrower cans. Had to find slim tall trash bags (Songmics brand has good ones, https://a.co/d/fwV4Hz5) which are still a bit too wide and a bit short, but much better than standard 8 gal ones.
