Update: Its been a couple of weeks so I'm back to adjust my rating. I'm jumping it up to 4 stars. I placed them in the various spots I had been planning on and they're working out wonderfully. I only left one star off due to the damaged arrival, but those cracks ended up being a little convinent. It allows air to escape the bottom when putting the new bag in. The small side is perfect for bathroom garbage. You should be taking that out pretty often anyway. 😊 I'd definitely suggest these for anyone shopping for a bathroom or laundry room garbage can. Original review: These were a late night impulse by. I figured I'd put one in each bathroom and one in the laundry area for lint. They were packed nested, which makes sense theoretically. Unfortunately, they were packed with these little styrofoam cubes between them which resulted in cracking the bottom of the top two bins. They're cheap enough, so rather than go to the hassle of returning such a cheap item, I just taped them up with some gaffers tape I had sitting around. I'll also have to shop around and see if I can find the right size bags. My 4 gallon bags are a little too big to really fit in right with the retention ring. I do like the retention ring though, it's nice to not see the bag hanging over the sides. The motion sensor works great for now. The kick sensor on the other hand is a little too sensitive. They seem to trigger just walking by them so we'll see how long they'll stick around before they get more annoying than they're worth. Oh well, it might be convenient to have it open up when I sit down on the throne. Overall,they're going to be sitting between the wall and a toilet and they'll hold garbage. I think they'll do the job until they don't. ... show more

The three pack is a excellent value. Two if the trash cans are working as expected. The white one motion sensor doesn't work correctly after a couple months. And I dont want to purchase another complete set for one trash can. But the cans colors work great for our needs. We have a black furniture filled room, white furniture filled room and a grey themed bathroom. My daughter gave the trash can a little personality with some googly eyes. No instructions on how to put the trash bags into the cans but can be figured out by playing around with it. ... show more
