Loved the convenience of the motion lid. Found it was too sensitive to keep right beside the toilet, the lid would open. So moved it a little further away. I didn’t have it very long when an Easter Sunday guest must have forced it open because I discovered a hinge was broken that night. Not able to fix it with glue. Next one I’ll have to label it as motion lid or move it when company I have company. ... show more

It works great. It takes ALOT more to fill it up than the usual garbage can. Looks decent, and the batteries last a long time. The only complaint I would have is that the garbage bags that come with it are fairly fragile, but I can buy different bags. Definately worth the money.

Seriously, I love this trash can. I've been wanting a can with a lid, but could not find one that I liked. We just had an open can that we had to empty every few days. This can holds a lot. After a few days, I just push the trash down slightly, and it gives me more room. One bag has lasted a whole week. The sensor is great. It opens right away and stays open long enough to put your trash in. The can sucks the air out when you first install the bag which is cool. It comes with some bags, but I purchased some compostable bags from Grove that I will be using. They fit in the can great. This is a nice-looking trashcan; however, it is very sensitive and may not work well in high traffic areas. I placed it beside the toilet in my bathroom and had to move it because it opened every time, I got near it. Since there is no other way to open it, I couldn't turn off the sensor.
