Wonderful!
Style: 2 Bike
Much better then I expected. We had to replace our bike rack because we couldn't open the rear hatch on our new mini van with it on. I looked at a lot of different ones that would work on our Pacifica. Most of them were less expensive and would do the job, but this one was listed as being a good deal lighter. We are in our 70's and putting the old one the hitch took us both, not fun, so we finally agreed to get this one. It is fantastic! It went together very quickly and I think I could put it on the car by my self if I needed to. It locks to the hitch and there is a cable lock for the bikes. The old rack had trays for the tires and the bikes hang on this one so I imagine that will take both of us to load the bikes, at least it did for our trial run. But that's OK. It holds the bikes well and we are both happy with our purchase. And I almost forgot, it very easily folds away from the rear of the car. Of course the bikes can't be on the rack but that works fine for us.

6 stars, except…
Style: 2 Bike
This product is strong, lightweight (I’m 73 and no problems), and easy to use and store. It takes about 7-8 minutes to remove my bikes, disconnect the rack, and store everything. So yes, 6 stars is what it deserves. I only gave it 5 because that’s all that Amazon allows and because of one problem—assembly instructions. In the long history of assembly instructions, these are the worst EVER. Someone in management decided that Egyptian hieroglyphics were a good idea, so all you get is nearly indecipherable pictograms. It took me about 5 hours to figure it out—yes 5!! Just think of all the FUN I could have had!! But no, my life has been blighted. MANAGEMENT!! Hire an English speaker who can WRITE clear, concise assembly directions. For the sake of the lives of your customers.

It delivers.
Style: 3 Bike
I recently purchased the Thule Helium Pro Hitch Bike Rack designed for three bikes. While the overall performance and features are commendable, there's an important consideration when it comes to accommodating different bike types. Pros: Lightweight and Easy Installation: The Helium Pro remains impressively lightweight, ensuring a hassle-free installation process. Secure Attachment: The rack's attachment system is robust, providing a secure hold for bikes during transportation. Compact Storage: The foldable arms and tilt-down feature are practical for accessing the trunk without removing the bikes. Durable Build Quality: The rack exhibits durability, and the quality materials used inspire confidence in its long-term use. Cons: Limited Bike Type Compatibility: The challenge arises when trying to fit road bikes with mountain bikes. The design may result in bikes touching, making it difficult to transport different types simultaneously. Premium Price: While the quality justifies the cost, the limited compatibility might be a drawback for users with a variety of bike types. In conclusion, the Thule Helium Pro Hitch Bike Rack is a reliable choice for transporting three bikes, provided they are of similar types. However, users with a mix of road and mountain bikes might find the design limitation challenging. Consider your specific bike compatibility needs before investing. Overall, it's a four-star choice with room for improvement.

Rugged, sturdy, stable bicycle rack with well designed bike strapping/integral locking system.
Style: 2 Bike
Within a few hours of the box arriving, I had the rack assembled and attached to the receiver on my Forrester ready for a four hour trip. Assembly instructions were easy to follow. I had a bit of difficulty with the locking mechanism on the knob that tightens the hitch mechanism and called for help. Support response was immediate and the individual who answered gave very helpful coaching and then followed up. On my first trip I found the hold down strapping system holding top tubes and down tube held bikes very, very securely. The integral locking mechanism for the bikes worked like a charms. The mechanisms which lock the articulating the arms and the hitch lowering were rugged and easy to use. The overall build quality seems excellent. If you want a bike rack that will last, this is one to get.

Great Bicycle rack! Much improved from previous/older versions.
Style: 3 Bike
Thule has always been known to make excellent, high-quality products. I had an older version of their bike rack, about 12-14 years ago and loved it. I had a hiatus from riding bikes and sold the old unit. When I received this new version I was highly impressed. The hitch attachment and tightening mechanism really hold the mount and the bikes well. It also has the ability to lock the rack into the hitch. The new zip tie-type strap to lock the bikes into place works well and you don't have to worry about over-stretching them. And the built-in cable bicycle locking system is inventive and easy to use. I highly recommend this bike rack.

Thules response ….. so sorry
Style: 2 Bike
Bought the Pro 2 Hellium rack and absolutely love the features. Lightweight, tilt, and straps. Installations and assembly directions pictorial only which took some time to decipher. Rack really only functional for 1 Bike. Tried to mount 2 hybrids and the handlebars will not clear the rear wheel of the 1st bike. Spacing a real issue. Contacted Thule and was told the rack will not accommodate the bikes and I would need to purchase a bike tray. No where in the description or instructions does it offer a disclaimer about the use of hybrid bikes. The only thing Thule could offer was “ so sorry”. Reall wanted to like this rack for its features. Thule needs to be upfront with its limitations and it’s customers. Return in process

Great bike rack
Style: 3 Bike
I assembled this on my own. Very sturdy and easy to load and unload bikes. I also remove it when not in use with ease.
