I've used this rack for about 3months on my Toyota RAV4 with two Cannondale bikes (42lbs each). What I like: - Easy to assemble - Seems very heavy-duty and stable. - The screw-in hitch pin and additional hitch stabilizer greatly reduces any wobble...very effective. - Has a long enough tube length from my trailer hitch that insures no contact between bikes and the back of my vehicle. - Although I'm a bit uncertain about the velcro tire straps, they're very good quality and I've had no issues - The manufacturer followed up with a feedback email that resulted in a very positive dialogue about a couple of things on the rack that could be better. I was impressed with the follow-up. - I did a fair amount of initial research and don't think you can beat the price point for a bike rack of this quality...it's a very good deal for the money. I'm very pleased with the rack. What I don't like: - The review comments regarding flimsy foam j-hook covers are correct. With that said, I went to a local hardware store and bought a couple of 1ft lengths of 5/8" heater hose. I pulled off the existing foam padding, and with a little silicone grease and twisting, successfully installed my replacement hose. It's been very secure with no movement or issues. I let the manufacturer know about it on a feedback email that he sent. He advised they've now modified the j-hook padding to be much better š - If you need to slide the top j-hook off the vertical bar to mount your bikes, you'll be frustrated by a metal rivet at the top of the center post that makes it difficult to completely slide off the hook without taking the hook-bracket apart. The upside of this is that it keeps the hook from siding all the way off. Downside is that at least in my case, it makes bike mounting a bit more difficult. I also advised the manufacturer about this, so they may be working on a solution. For me, it's not a show-stopper...just annoying, and in my opinion easy to re-engineer if they choose to do so.

I have used my 2-Bike Hitch Rack several times already and have been very pleased with it. It is sturdy, secure, and easy to use. Its 180-lb capacity handles my two e-bikes with excellent stability thanks to padded hooks, strong straps, and anti-rattle features. The foldable, tiltable design adds convenience, and its adjustable holders fit many bike types for when I take my regular bikes. It is a reliable, well-built rack. Additionally, the installation is quick, the materials feel sturdy, and the reflective safety features offer extra peace of mind during night drives. Excellent bike rack at a very good price. It arrived quicker than expected and was easy to assemble. It's high quality, very solid and doesn't rattle around while in use. iām very happy with my choice and I would easily buy it again.

We chose this rack for our Day 6 recumbant style bikes and it works well as described. It is heavy duty and sturdy and assembly took some effort but came together well. Go hubby! Thank you to the manufacturer/seller who offers this rack at an affordable price so we can get out beyond our neighborhood to enjoy biking and nature! The four stars are for a few reasons. 1. No where did the site say why you would need the upgraded extra cost "quick release" handle - but maybe it would be worth it as the locking clamps are tight and take some effort / muscle to undo each time you want to tilt the rack down. And we are only guessing that is the handle function as we can find no info on anything or anywhere to tell us what the upgraded handle is about. 2. Our bikes are heavy and a ramp (on more expensive racks) would have been a nice feature we never considered looking for. We can't build a ramp because the J hooks prevent rolling on the bikes - they get in the way and are not designed to be removed and replaced during loading. Lifting and manuevering the bikes into place could become a problem as my husband gets older. At 5'1" with less upper arm strength, I'm out of loading bikes "duty" with this rack. 3. We purchased red reflective tape for the bottom of the rack that faces out when the rack is folded up and traveling without bikes (at that point, the reflector on the hitch itself is facing the sky). We put it there and on the outer edges that are slightly wider than the vehicle as the rack sticks out and is a neutral color with no reflection. 4. We purchased extra velcro straps because, for our bike investment and bike styles, we were not comfortable with only the ones sent with the rack. 5. Just a reminder, with any bike without a crossbar you need to purchase a bike adapter bar to work with J hooks like on this rack. In our case, it added an extra $110 because of the weight of each bike and the distance between posts on our bikes. More expensive roll on racks would not need this additional purchase. It would have been nice to be reminded of this extra purchase on the product site. We realized the rack could not yet be used only AFTER we put it together and realized we had no way to anchor the bikes in. Rookie mistake but we all start somewhere!
