Easy to assemble, took maybe 20-30 min. Does not include tools so you will need a couple wrenches at a minimum. Seems pretty heavy duty, I wouldn’t trust the included straps too much.

Nice and sturdy bicycle/E bike carrier. It’s a bit heavy and awkward to put on your car especially if you wanna take it on and off on a regular basis. I would suggest just folding it up when not in use and keep it on your car. We use it to haul around our electric bikes and works great for that purpose. Very sturdy and heavy. This bike rack was easy to install on my hitch and it is heavy duty so it feels very durable and stable. It easily holds both mine and my husband’s bikes and has no problem supporting their weight.

This is not as heavy duty as it should be. It does work but i added straps to the bumper to help stop loose movement. it did hold two larger electric bikes. center post to secure bikes is not the best design had to strap bikes to center post to keep from moving. Overall it does work but not best for step through bikes. ... show more

Picked this up to carry two fat-tire e-bikes and it’s been really solid so far. I usually travel around 5 miles to and from the beach, and mounted the bikes on the roof. With my age however this was becoming tough to lift them that high. The rack feels heavy-duty and doesn’t wobble once it’s tightened in the hitch. Loading the bikes is pretty straightforward after the first time you adjust everything. The rack itself is on the heavier side, so putting it on and taking it off isn’t super fun, but that’s also what makes it feel sturdy and secure. It is also much, much easier than getting two bikes onto the roof. Overall, it does exactly what I need and feels like something I won’t have to replace anytime soon. ... show more

This thing is a genius idea. Most people get a bike rack that is bulky to store and serves no other purpose then transporting your bikes. This thing is doubles as a storage rack for camping and road trips, it's awesome! It's not too heavy and you really get a bang for your buck.
