  • Safe & certified: The heater features a built-in safety valve that will automatically shut off the fuel supply (shutting down the heater) if unit is tilted or tipped. It also includes protective mesh surrounding the ceramic-glass heating column, and a pilot light for safer startup/shutdown. It is also compliant with ANSI, CE, and CSA standards and specifications.

The stable, anti-tip base of the heater conceals a full 20-pound propane tank (not included) and all the controls, for a sleek, modern exterior. Looks incredible on the deck, matches my superior Weber grill black coating and makes my neighbors feel like peasants. A must buy for the ruling class. The flame in the attached video reflects the flame at a lower setting, not sure how close I will keep it to the vinyl because I don't want to melt my baller house. If your main objective is “HEAT” buy the other style patio heater.! This heater is more about ambiance. It’s flickering flame is a focal point for conversations and provides a warm flickering light that lights the area. It does produce some heat on max setting...... but you basically need to be standing around it to feel it. The heat it does produce mainly radiates straight out and isn’t directed down to heat the area like the original style patio heaters. Also this heater produces a little more of a “combustion gas smell” and is less suited for partly inclosed areas. My opinion is ,the other style heaters burn cleaner. As far as the heater goes, it’s construction and quality met my expectations and I would buy again. ... show more

    • Great assembly instructions and beautiful to watch

As a stickler for having understandable assembly instructions, I was pleasantly surprised by their clarity and completeness. I took my time putting it together and did so in about 90 minutes. Everything fit properly and tightly, with all the holes and parts lining up nicely. No sloppy wide variation in part sizes, hole locations and diameters, etc. Overall seems to be a well-engineered product without any cheap, flimsy components. The unit works just as advertised. A few neighbors gawked and flashed thumbs-up as they drove by and saw the heater in operation. Very unique and quite pleasant to look at. When the temp dropped below 50F, we had to sit within 3 ft to feel the warmth since the heat dispersal seems to be spread out over the length of the glass tube, with only some of it radiating down from the top reflector. That is by design, I'm sure, given the long length of the flame, but just don't expect to be roasted out. But we're still happy we purchased the heater and find it a good value. ... show more

    • Magnificent lighting - don’t buy for warmth tho!

Not very difficult to assemble but it did take 2 hours. Very impressive heater... best used for the magnificent lighting capabilities but NOT for warmth, but I knew that already by having read reviews prior to purchase. Control box failed after first use and unit would not reignite. Company sent me a new control box right away . Customer service is superb - immediate reply and remedy. Even tho the unit didn’t work as it should from the start, customer service ensures I will ultimately have a working unit . ... show more

I am very happy with this patio heater, so much so I just ordered a second one. I looked at two styles, this one w the glass tube and the other standard style with no visible flame, just heat generated from the top. I suspect the other style my be more efficient, but the really nice bonus for this one is it generates a good amount of heat AND light. I can have this on and not have to have my yard lights on......very nice! I thought the instructions were easy to follow. It took me and my husband about an hour to assemble and neither of us threw a tool or threatened divorce. 😀. It does take two sets of hands to assemble easily. I have purchased 4 of these Tiki Outdoor Propane Heaters for patio dining during phase 1 of restaurant reopening on the outside. They are beautiful to look at when lit and do provide great heat. I started with just 2 and then added 2 more. I will purchase more in the future.

The product looks great but gives off zero heat. You can put your hand on the metal and still not feel any heat. Product description says a 15' area of heat it does not even reach 2".

IF YOU HAVE MISSING PARTS THEY WILL NOT SEND THEM - Waste of time! Missing parts and they were not able to send them, so it was a huge waste of time unpacking everything and having to repackage it to send back.
