  • Great scooter/ ez assembly
Color: Silver Platinum
I ordered this for my husband because he broke his ankle and with the cast and two bad shoulders, neither a knee cart or wheelchair were doable. My husband actually put the whole thing together himself! Given his conditions above, that means it's a very well made machine and pretty easy to put together. It rides smoothly and maneuvers easily in our house. We haven't taken it outside yet. My only issue is that there's no way to quiet that loud beep. If there were a speaker we could cover it with tape. The noise it makes sounds exactly like a smoke detector, so it's quiet startling and scares us as well as the cat. Customer service was quick to respond via chat. They told me we could follow a video they sent to disengage the wires. The downside being it wouldn't beep for anything... meaning no low battery alert, no horn and would not warn us of other potential problems. Actually thinking of doing it. So despite the loud beep( turning it on, or forgetting to shut it off when idle) it is very nice. Well built, sturdy, easy assembly, simple to drive and has good turning radius. Glad we bought this one! ... show more

  • Great Scooter For The Price!
Color: Silver Platinum
Bought this scooter for my 81 year old mom. She weighs 160lbs and has mobility challenges due to a bad knee. It runs great and she loves the adjustable speeds. Its heavy though and we had to buy a ramp to load and unload it into my Toyota RAV4 because only my husband can lift it in and out. Mom loves the headlamp on the front and the basket she uses for her purse and drink. The battery is easy to charge just keep in mind the battery needs to be fully charged to tackle steep hills. I made the mistake of taking it to a park with a steep incline whe it was about half charged and it died halfway up. That sucked. Since we have been charging it up the night before we go on long outings there has been no further incidents like that and she has driven up all manner of hills since. It has good traction and she takes it on pavement, dirt, grass and even over shallow pothole and it has no problems. Mom doesn't like the potholes though. The scooter doesn't exactly have shock absorption. Overall we love it and recommend it! ... show more

  • Worth the money
Color: Silver Platinum
First things first, the company called me and made sure the scooter made a safe arrival and asked if I had any questions. Major plus in my book. It was packed very well and so easy to put together. The material and stitching the seat is made of is beautiful and looks to be very sturdy. Plus, great detail on the keychain. My major concern was for it to drive through the grass and tough terrain to get to my chicken coops, it exceeded my expectations. I’ve only had it for one day. I love it so far. Highly recommend ... show more

  • Battery held up well in DC
Color: Silver Platinum
Vive 4 Wheel Mobility Scooter - Electric Powered Wheelchair Device - Compact Heavy Duty Mobility It is well made. We recently went to DC and Williamsburg. The battery almost made it the whole day in DC and that was driving over 5 miles and roughly 8.5 hours. It had one issue that kept occurring. It would be charged to full and while out using it the battery light would drop to empty and not want to work. This was only after an hour so I knew something wasn't right. I turned it off waited a few seconds and turned it back on and it was back up to full power with no further issues. That seemed to happen at least once a day then we were good. For the price and convenience of hubby being able to travel I'll put up with that glitch. Assembly is easy, just several pieces to install. ... show more

  • Might be alright for a small person
Color: Silver Platinum
Looks nice, however the platform for your feet is very short. My husband weres a size 10 shoe and his feet couldn't fit the platform. Also the turning radius is very limited. Had to return immediately. After communicating with Vive they helped me with the return

  • Lightweight & Easy to Load
Color: Silver Platinum
I was planning an upcoming cruise and was going to rent a scooter on the ship because I knew I couldn't do all that walking with the neuropathy in my feet. I had been looking at these on Amazon, because I knew it was only a matter of time before I needed to own my own. Even stores that offer electric scooters have issues. Either there are none available or, they all have dead batteries and or bad sensors. This model does not disappoint. It loads in easily in and out of my Honda Element and slides right in behind my front seats with the back seats folded up. I can load and unload it by myself and I'm a 68-year-old woman. I highly recommend the Honda Element, too. As you can see from the photo, I had a non ADA compliant cabin on the ship and was still able to park my scooter inside it. The doorway was tight, but it fit. I installed a bicycle bell on the basket within easy reach (too small for the handlebar) to warn people on the ship that I was behind them or approaching to prevent anyone from falling over me. It was a big hit and kids loved it. 🙂 This doesn't have the turning radius of store scooters, but I learned to work with it quickly. I find it easier to bungee cord a grocery basket to the back of my scooter at the grocery store, Sam's, Lowe's, etc because I know that I'll have no drama with the scooter stranding me in the back of the store with a loaded cart so always carry an 18" rubber bungee cord. I keep one in the basket. This is not a paid review and I received no discounts or compensation for it. I just love this scooter because it has opened up my world again. I'll be able to go to county fairs and carnivals again that I haven't been able to attend for the last 5 years because my neuropathy has gotten so bad. I could either wait for Medicare to maybe approve one of these, and it may not be this lightweight, or go ahead and pull the trigger and buy it myself. The cost to rent a scooter for my 5-day Cruise was $250 and that led me to pull the trigger on this. No regrets, I absolutely love it and named it Flash. I ordered the custom decal from Amazon too. If you need a scooter to get around, and don't weigh over 250 lb, this is the way to go. Race ya to the gate! ... show more

  • If you need a cheap mobility scooter to get you by for a short time this might help
Color: Silver Platinum
Overall it is comfortable. They battery is long lasting. Cosmeticly, within a week the little red buttons for the horn and light has come off, at different times. But luckily saw it the first time and found it quick. The other time not sure, it just was gone. I currently have a cast on my left leg, I'm non weight bearing, due to my leg being stretched out over the front by the wheel the heel of cast has shredded all of the lining or sticker or whatever it is that's coated on the parts. So within having it only for a week it has a lot of cosmetic damage already. The horn/alarm is another thing, every time it turns on it is so loud. Also to mention if you are cruising down the sidewalk or raod and you hit a bump or a crack the scooter will automatically shut off and almost give you a jerking motion forward and you have to restart it to keep going and the alarm continues going off, very annoying. Due to the scooter not being very expensive and only needed for a limited time I guess it's worth the money but honestly it could have been cheaper since it's not waterproof and cannot go in the grass. ... show more
