Excellent charger. Using for tesla. Selectable amps!! Gets me good and charged. Gets me 15 miles of charge per hour at 16amp. About 22 miles with 24amps. And 31 miles per hour with 32amps charge.

If you have Nema 10-30 outlet which is usually for dryer that product is right choice for charging your EV. It’s adjustable amp so if your vehicle doesn’t support to adjust amps you can simply select whatever you want. There is 8,16,24 and 32amp selection. Also if you lose power somehow it’s saving your last amp value and when power comes back keep running on the saved amps. I would suggest to use 24amps if you have 30amp breaker. That’s protect your vehicle and charger. It has built with good quality material. Great choice with great price.

I got this Tesla charger when the old one gave out. I think the problem was twisting it the same way every time I pulled it off the wall and returned it. Basically, I'm not an ambi turner. So, with this one I'm making sure to turn one way when I plug it in and the other way when I replace the charger. The charger is very easy to use. It looks more like a standard EV charger (the body) than a Tesla charger, it's just a style thing, but somethign I noticed. Also, I love the dryer plug style as my garage has them on both sides and it allows me to move the vehicle when necessary and not stop charging. Probably the best part is the selectable amps. It's the only time I've had a selectable charge on the actual charger (I've had several EVs). Usually the only selection is available in the car and it's the choice of low or lower charge on a Level1 (this is a Level 2 charger). A 16 foot cord is on the short side of comfortable for my setup but the ability to switch sides of the garage helps alot. The plug is very user friendly. No concerns about it being damaged or wearing out from normal use. At $200 it's less than half what Tesla wanted for a replacement, excellent value.
