My Nissan LEAF J1772 charger fits into this holder, but does not latch in. This makes the holder unusable. When mounted vertically, the receptacle slants downward, so that the charging cable/connector easily slips out onto the floor. A total failure in design. There is a second design flaw. The holder comes in two parts, a base plate and a face plate. The base plate can be mounted onto the wall. Then the face plate snaps, very securely, onto the base plate. All that is fine unless you want to remove the holder from the wall some day. There is no means to unsnap the face plate, and the face plate covers the screws holding the unit to the wall. There would be no way to remove the unit from the wall without destroying something. I did not mount the unit to the wall, because of design failure #1, above. But I did snap the two pieces together, and they are now impossible to separate without damaging one or both parts. The unit is made in China.
