I purchased this umbrella to use while cooking outside. I built a base and placed it so that it would cover both my Traeger pellet grill and my Blackstone griddle. The umbrella looks nice and is easy to use when raising and lowering. The quality of the umbrella is okay for its price point. It works well to provide some shade. Unfortunately, I did ultimately make the purchase so that I could use the umbrella if it were raining. I had higher hopes that it would be more water resistant. However, I have come to find that as soon as the umbrella gets wet, it starts dripping water through the material. So, in the event that I ever want to shade myself from the Alaska sun while cooking outside, it will be perfect! ... show more
