I have ordered this back in August and have been since waiting for the firmware update for playstation to install and use this drive. Finally the time has come and I was able to put it to use. So far so GOOD! It recognized it right away and you have the full 1TB of space at your disposal. No issues up to this point and the ps5 performs a bit faster with the drive.     • Great Performance for Gaming Rig. One Caveat...
4.6 stars. Only ding to it's score is "Value for money" which I will elaborate below. Performance for gaming is great and very easy to install. I bought an MSI Cyborg and decided to upgrade the 500 G SSD when I ran out of room within a couple days. I have a lot of photos. The MSI Cyborg only has one M.2 slot, so I got a external M.2 enclosure and replicated the internal drive onto this one. Worked perfectly. Ran userbenchmark before and after the upgrade and got similar scores, so I am happy with the drive. I wish there were an option to buy this drive at a slightly cheaper price without the aluminum heatsink case. I can't utilize it on a laptop, and it seems like a waste. I looked for that option and couldn't find it. Only reason I don't give it 5 stars. Seems like a shame to ... show more

Running AMD 2700x in low, low-end ASRock MB... Only has a single m.2 nvme 3x4 slot, but it's running near the max possible 3x4 speed ~3.9 GB/s read and ~3.8GB/s write - verified with both Crystal DM and SMART test software. Best bang from good company and it will be able to move to a 4x4 slot in the future - plus a "free" heat sink too boot. It has a 5 year warranty. Only time will tell... ... show more

    • Sudden malfunction after a few yeard of use
I enjoyed the item for a couple of years. Every thing seemed excellent until one day it suddenly stopped working while using it at a library. I just cannot access to it and all my data is like gone. I took it out of my laptop and put is in a envloser to see if my data was accesible. But of no use. I experieced the embarrasing moment during my travel to Indonesia.
