This is an excellent dog food. My dog had problems with obesity and my veterinarian told me to buy this. He’s been on the same amount of food, just this food instead of his previous and he has in fact lost weight. It’s very low calorie He seems to love it too so that’s a bonus. I had zero issues switching him to this food. My 9 year old dog loves this. She doesn'y like other kibbles. Prescribed by her vet after she weighed in at 90 lb. She should be no more than 70 lb. Usually has some fresh pet with it, & loves celery & letttuce. She has a lot more energy; is losing weight slowly; vet is happy.

Science Diet is a very high quality high end dog food. They have been feeding military dogs for over 75 years. This diet is complete and palatable and my dogs look great on it. On the flip side, all dog food is appallingly expensive for no reason other than price gouging these days. Many dogs are being given up at shelters because their owners cannot afford to feed them. This food works fantastic for keeping your dog's weight perfect! My Cocker spaniel who lived to 15 years old ate it her whole life.. and now my two beagles (ages 3 and 4 now) eat it every day and love it!
