I have this inside of my house for my bunny. Everything was easy to put together and it is really adorable. My one and only complaint is that the little heart hinge to close the front of the cage was not centered properly so I had to fix that myself but for the cost and all of that, it is not bad at all! My bunny seems to like it! It is pretty small so I would only say to have one rabbit or one full grown chicken in there.

Where do I start?? Not worth $80.00! You are going to need two people to put this together,( and we are veterans of putting together IKEA type furniture) Do not use a power screwdriver, it may split the wood. The wood is very soft and flimsy, like balsa wood, during the construction we were so afraid something would break off. The roof and floor/tray are the most sturdy parts of this cage. When you screw in the screws there are no pre-drilled holes, so make sure you line it up correctly, this is where two people come in, to hold it in place while the other installs the screws. The directions are a drawing no written instructions, so you just have to wing it, it is easy to assemble but can be mildly complicated as well. It is not as big as it looks on the photo, we have one guinea pig, but I would not see using it for "chickens", maybe one chicken. The arch on the divider had some rough edges that needed sanding for safety. The wood also is very aromatic, like cedar, which is not safe for small animals to breathe. We placed it outside for a while to air out. Also putting on the lid is very tricky, since there are no drill holes, also the bracket that locks the lid in place is tricky to put on, too. Overall it is not what we expected, and are waiting to see if our piggie will chew a hole through it. Update: Ten minutes after assembly we began to move the habitat to get it ready and IT COMES APART! At a place that came pre-assembled, the wood broke off from under the screw. See photos. We are now going to try and repair it using some wood glue to keep the pieces together. We have realign it so the pieces fit and move properly! Returning it would be a pain😔 We would have to take it apart put it back into the box and take it to the UPS store. Disappointed

This is a very inexpensive hutch obviously and personally I think it would be inhumane to keep a rabbit in here. It’s just too small. I got this for my quail which isn’t perfect but it’ll do for now. The wood is very cheap. Part of it came cracked but is still usable-just ugly. Building is easy enough. We had it done in about 15 min but probably best to do it outside because the roof piece got little black bits EVERYWHERE. The locking flask is cute but not exactly super secure. We installed another on. The tray is a good idea but you’ll have to remove your pets every time because the whole floor pulls out. This is an expensive temporary solution and a cheap long term solution depending on your situation.

Very very nice hutch. Perfect fit for a small to medium sized bunny. The pull out tray makes for easy clean up. Holds accessories such as water bottles feeding trays etc very well. Keep in mind this is only big enough for one adult bunny. I will be buying another for my next pet.

Where to put your critter while you clean it? No wire bottom. In the description it does have the measurements but I still thought it was bigger. lol Pretty small not big enough in my opinion. I wanted my rabbit to have room to move around. They chewed the wood arm that holds the top up. That part should have been metal. It is sturdy though. Maybe a guinea pig or something smaller is best for this size.

The instructions are clear and easy to understand. It's beautifully packaged and of good quality, bought for our rabbits, in my daughter's room. Such a one is ideal for indoor use. This design is perfect for cleaning.

Bought this as an outside rabbit hutch for our new bunny. After assembling it we knew it would never last in that capacity. The hutch is not very sturdy and the interior is quite small and does not give the bunny sufficient room to play and eat. The bedding tray also leaks. The urine drips down the legs even using straw and paper bedding with a pee pee pad beneath it. We are using it only as a place indoors for the bunny to sleep at night. My recommendation is buy a large dog crate and put a small pet taxi carrier inside for the bunny to sleep in and jump on top of. Add a water dish and some toys and your bunny will be in bunny heaven.
