We have a small Holland Lop who likes to tear things up. These bowls give her something to do and are a little more of a challenge than a standard grass mat--or our own blankets, clothing, carpet, and furniture when she is having a romp outside her cage. She works on a bowl a little bit every day, and prefers to sit inside it while she's munching on it. She will still sit on it until it's tiny enough that only one front foot will fit and the last little bit falls through the wire. They could be a little larger and better constructed for the price, but overall, these bowls serve as both a toy and a supplemental food source, so we're happy and will continue to purchase. ... show more

    • Fine. But won't fit large rabbits
Great for any rodent or small pet but a large, full grown rabbit couldn't fit in the beds. A small breed or baby could. A chinchilla probably could. Definitely rats and other small pets. I got it for a goose. Definitely not fitting her. Luckily I have rats that will love it

I use these to put hay in for my bunnies when they're out running around. I thought they would be a little deeper but they still seemed to hold enough hay to keep them happy for their running around time. I imagine they will eventually eat the basket too but it's a nice heavy quality so it might take them some time to destroy them. ... show more
