I bought this specific umbrella because the description says “Coming with heavy-duty metal frame” and that the material was described as steel. I don’t think its steel it seems like aluminum because with a rain storm the metal bent on of the arms. In retrospect i should have put it down or taken it inside but I’m in Florida and these storms come through with zero warning. Idk what to think now, I feel it shouldn’t have bent so easily but at the same time the base is heavy enough that it didn’t fly off which is good and the resistance from the base and the wind underneath the large surface area of the umbrella created the force. Idk, just really sad to have spent so much money on a product that only lasted a week and to get destroyed on my birthday of all days :( My advise is basically do not leave it out if you aren’t using it because why risk it, otherwise it was nice while it lasted.

It looked great for a while but now horriblly faded and turned a shade of pink/purple color LOOKS HORRIBLE. Supposed to be tan. It's less than a year and a half old. I contacted seller and they said I'm out of warranty. Never again will I buy outdoor furniture unless it is sunbrella fabric. Their fabric can't withstand the elements and sun. It's a shame because it's great for the length of our rectangle table. Lights don't give off much light but they are a cute addition.

This thing is a monster, covers huge area of my patio and is holding up to crazy New Mexican winds. At night the lights are bright can easily eat without the porch light. We ordered the tan color and it has turned a purplish color because of the sun. If I have one complaint it’s that the string to tie it could be longer, thinking about using a bungee cord instead. We used 4 bags of paver sand to fill the base bags and the cover stays on nicely. For the price, this is an epic find. It winds up and down fairly easy.

Did have a couple of stains on it but hardly noticeable. We filled the sand bags with 75 lbs of sand and then put 2-50lb bags of sand on top of the base to make sure it won’t go anywhere. With that much weight it is very sturdy.

Umbrella provides a canopy of shade with beautiful night lights! Make sure it’s positioned where you want it before placing sand in the bags. This will help you avoid extra labor.
