This shade sails it absolutely great. It is so nice to enjoy the shade it provides. The quality is excellent and it is very strong. Easy to take down and put back up if you get a wind storm. I would guess it blocks 97% of the sun and it allows rainwater to flow through it. When it is wet, it will hang down a little, but that's okay with me. And after if dries, it goes back to its original position. It looks great!

I just bought my townhouse with a rooftop deck. When I looked around at my neighbors shade panels I noticed they had damage/tears at the corner ringlets. This shade cover is so tough, and the rings are so sturdy and the cabling provided so much support I know it will last for years. Worth the extra cost!

D-rings rusted in the first year. I bought three triangular sun shades the same year from a different manufacturer and the d-rings on those still haven’t rusted. Doesn’t affect function except I expect it increases wear-and-tear on the webbing loops they’re fastened to. Fabric and stitches are holding up ok, color still looks good, maybe a bit of fraying in the stitches. I tried using the ropes it came with, but ended up installing pulleys up high and cleats at eye level, ran long lines through those so it’s a cinch to tension it, drop part of it to clean off bird poop, or take it down in hurricane season. All that tackle wasn’t cheap but keeps me down off the ladder.
