I have a tiny home I built for my Dad when my Mom passed away and I bought one of these tarps to help to keep the Florida sun out of his front living room, it works fabulously and helps to keep things shaded particularly during the hottest time of day. It was easy to install and this is the 2nd one we have purchased in the last 2 years. Understand we live in FLORIDA and it can get up to 115 in the shade on a summer day in Florida! Lots of rain, wind and just normal wear can wear it out. For the amount of money it cost $31 it was worth it and I was happy to replace it the old one with the same exact product...now we are ready for Fall and cooler weather. Love this tarp and will continue to buy these as long as they are making them! Good stuff!

This shade sails it absolutely great. It is so nice to enjoy the shade it provides. The quality is excellent and it is very strong. Easy to take down and put back up if you get a wind storm. I would guess it blocks 97% of the sun and it allows rainwater to flow through it. When it is wet, it will hang down a little, but that's okay with me. And after if dries, it goes back to its original position. It looks great!

I will say that these do stretch a good bit. Used an old ratchet strap to draw mine tight and I have had to tighten them several times to pull the sag out. Especially if they are wet and heavy. Still great overall! Would buy more.

I have purchased several of these Shade Sails. My reason for using this product, is that I usually cover my project cars with a car cover and then a Tarp. However, the Tarps don't last long (maybe 3 months) in the sun and tropical climate where I reside. The Last one of these I purchased has been up for going three years. Experience moderate winds, and only developed a tear due to being too close to the car (car's radio antenna digging into it from time to time). Once installed correctly (with room for sagging/stretching due to water) it will last a good time (maybe 3 - 5 years). You have to pitch (angle) two sides to allow proper drainage. Even though it is water permeable, rain water will collect in very heavy down pours. Family and Friends have been so impressed, that I have begun to purchase more and install at there homes to cover the cars in the drive way. I suggest not having more than 12 -24" of line from each install point. If you can directly connect at least two sides to the post/wall (install point), it will be best. Long lines will cause it to flap in the wind, and reduce the life of the unit. There are more heavy duty versions (260g, with stainless steel wire in the hemmed edges), but I don't think those are necessary unless in high wind exposed areas.

We live in Florida, and we have to provide extra shade for our dogs when they are outside during the day. We have trees in their fence, but we needed more shade, especially outside their dog house. This really filled the bill. It is large and casts a lot of shade because of the dark color. We had a smaller one with a lighter color previously and it was almost useless. This one works great and I would highly recommend it.

This shade is made well but you would have to have precise measurements to make it fit tight . Since the seems are curved it sags because you just can't really get it tight
