When you're faced with dozens of paddle options, choosing the right one can be overwhelming. I started with a beginner paddle set (gifted to me), which worked fine at first. But once I started playing 3–4 times a week, I knew I needed something better. This paddle has been a fantastic upgrade. The combination of power and control makes it ideal for someone stepping into the intermediate zone. The face has an excellent textured surface—you can feel it even without hitting a ball—and it really helps with spin and shot placement. It’s light (about 8 oz.), feels great in the hand, and the grip size is just right. Price-wise, it’s in that sweet mid-range—not cheap, not outrageous—and totally worth it for what you get. I actually tried another paddle around the same price and ended up returning it. This one? Way more impressive. Great quality, great value. Absolutely recommend it if you’re looking to improve your game without overspending.

I have been playing pickle ball for about 4 years and have used several rackets. This one is the lightest one I have used (if you have any elbow or arm pain this may be particularly helpful to you) and it came with 2 extra grips if you feel the handle is too thin. This racket plays well, and is particularly helpful in my soft game, giving me a lot of control, with a large sweet spot. It also has a rough surface that make spins easy. My husband has been using it too and will likely purchase his own soon. The packaging is attractive and it feels like it could be a much more expensive racket - I was considering a competitor with a foam core that was $270, so feel this racket is a great value. It is a solid racket for an intermediate. I have also used Selkirk and CRBN paddles and like them, but both of these are not performing as well as when I first got them.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: As an avid pickleball player who’s been hitting the courts for a couple of years now, I recently got my hands on the YVmove T800 Carbon Fiber Pickleball Paddle with 16mm V-Sonic IV Dynamic Core, and I’ve got to say, it’s been a game-changer for my playstyle. Here’s my personal take on this USAPA-approved paddle after putting it through its paces. When I first picked up the T800, the textured T700 carbon fiber surface felt gritty and promising in my hand, and the ergonomic grip was a pleasant surprise. It’s got this anti-slip, cushioned feel that made long rallies comfortable, even during sweaty summer felt balanced, not too heavy to whip around for quick volleys but substantial enough to give my shots some authority. What I love most is the control. The 16mm V-Sonic IV Dynamic Core gives it a soft, plush touch that’s perfect for dinking at the kitchen line. I found myself placing drop shots exactly where I wanted, which is a big deal for me since I lean toward a finesse game. The carbon fiber surface is a spin machine, too. I was slicing backspins and ripping topspin drives with confidence, and my opponents were struggling to read the ball’s movement. It’s like the paddle was giving me an extra edge in those tight exchanges. Power-wise, it’s not the most aggressive paddle I’ve used. My drives and serves had decent pop, but if you’re someone who loves smashing the ball with raw force, a thinner paddle might suit you better. For me, though, the trade-off for control and spin is worth it. I play an all-court game, mixing soft shots with occasional power, and this paddle feels like it was made for that versatility. I bought this paddle on the recommendation of a friend. I got it yesterday and played with it today. I was amazed with the way I was able to put spin on the ball, both backhand and forehand, and also pleased with the power that I was able to generate on my forehand returns. Best paddle I’ve owned since I started playing pickleball 6 years ago. Great weight and feel in the hand . I highly recommend this paddle to the serious pickleball player who enjoys comfort, control and power from a paddle

This is a fantastic paddle for any level of play. The carbon fiber surface of the paddle generates lots of spin so it will definitely favor players who prefer slices. Power wise, it is good but I’ve used other paddles that generate more power. It’s very comfortable in-hand with a good sweet spot for hitting; I feel great playing with it for 3+ hours at a time. It’s also very durable, I’ve had it for about half a year now, and it still works well and does everything I need it do. A good paddle that has decent power, amazing spin, and overall strong versatility. 9/10

I used to play with another high end control-focused padel earlier. I needed more pop and that’s where I found T800 from YVMove. First game with the paddle and I knew this is the one I’ve been longing for. Excellent pop, high energy transfer ratio, low vibration, and great spin. While the pop provides great speed, the grit on the paddle enhances the spin. The weight of the paddle is helps me with greater control. It has all I had ever expected from a great paddle which is further complimented by the amazingly low cost for the quality of this paddle. I certainly recommended this for starters and experienced both.

This paddle has been a fantastic upgrade from my previous one, and I am pleased to recommend it for anyone looking to step up their game without spending a lot of money. The build quality feels premium right out of the box, and the performance on the court is outstanding. I've noticed a significant improvement in my dinks and drop shots. Slices, backspins, and topspin drives are effortless to generate and tough for my opponents to read. The grit on the face is top notch. It honestly performs as well. Getting this level of quality and performance at a mid-range price is an incredible value. The weight light, allowing for long playing sessions without wrist strain. The grip is comfortable and feels solid in hand. It feels like it will hold up for a long time.
