I'm a beginner started playing from mid September, tried some other brands and then I had the chance to use my frnds Joola Hyperion paddle, and it changed my game. Immediately I got one during October prime day, since then I'm in btwn beginner to intermediate. So I have only been playing about a year of pickleball. I have been using some paddles my wife had bought and they were cheap, but worked. I have a tendency to always spin the ball when I play. I wanted to spin it more, but with the cheap paddles, I was working them to their max. I bought my wife a better paddle as we were to be in a tournament. I played with her paddle and it is nice, I like the differences, so I started looking for a paddle for me, I came across the reviews on this one. It is pricey, but worth it. The reaction of the ball to the paddle is amazing. It is grips, and has a bigger sweet spot like I would have on a tennis racket. I was very impressed. I even had some of my spins back up the ball on a dink, which I was never able to do with the cheap paddles. Well worth the money, it is quality, it is so much better than I thought it might be. Great product. My wife hates my serves, spins and returns now hahahahahaha ... show more

Pros: Quality construction, a LOT of power, good spin Cons: Not forgiving, often too much power As a low intermediate player I bought this paddle to take my game to the next level. I was impressed with the power and spin that this paddle generated. Unfortunately, I found it inconsistent and difficult to control. In the hands of an advanced player this paddle is probably amazing but I wouldn't recommended it for people who are newer to Pickleball. I played with this paddle for 2 months and then replaced it with one that was much more forgiving and the difference in my game was considerable. ... show more

I’ve been playing with this paddle for about a year and four months now, usually 3–4 times a week. My DUPR is around 3.8, and most of our games are very fast-paced with lots of slams and drives, so the paddle gets serious use. Despite that, I’ve had no issues with core “dead spots” or performance drop. The textured surface holds up really well and wears slowly, even with aggressive play. The handle is one of my favorite parts. It feels comfortable for both one-handed and two-handed backhands, which isn’t always easy to find. The sweet spot is generous, and the balance between power and control feels very natural. There’s also good forgiveness on off-center hits, which helps during fast exchanges. I like to play with this paddle and I would definitely recommend this paddle because of the performance and price. ... show more

I'm an intermediate/advanced and play multiple times per week. A teaching pro confirmed my concern that this paddle was breaking down so I tried contacting Joola given it was in the warranty window. No one answered the phones after multiple times, and an email said that they were overwhelmed with requests. A week later they contacted me and asked for a picture and video to confirm defect, which I promptly did. I'm headed to week #4 trying to resolve. Net, a pretty good paddle but don't expect to hear from Joola if you need something. after purchase..it ain't happening. ... show more

Great feel right off in my hand the moment i unwrapped it from the great packaging . Took it to the court the next morning and whoa, lot’s of power in the large sweet spot. The balls just sounds different. Had to swing a little softer because the ball just flies. My partner could tell the difference. Great grit of the surface, which allowed me to slice the ball to confuse my opponents even more. I felt like I had more control that my other paddles. Played 6 games and I felt I could have played 6 more the same day. Paddle felt perfect and almost nonexistent sweat on my hand. Love this paddle and it I’ll be my dominant paddle in my 5.0 to 6.5 tournaments. ... show more
