Arrived the same day I ordered it. It is a pickleball paddle, it is not for "Table tennis" as the Amazon site describes it! It is a powerful paddle with a nice solid feel. It makes less noise than my Engage Pursuit EX Graphite × 1. I like my new Joola BJ paddle, will I like it better than my Engage? Time will tell. It would be nice if it came with a paddle cover.     • Amazing Paddle, but broke after 10 weeks

Received this paddle 10 weeks ago. I loved everything about it, until the handle came loose from the main paddle. This occurred on a normal forehand, not from any abuse that should break it. When attempting to go to Joola's USA support website, the site is down "DNS resolution error 1001". I will update the review if I can actually get support from Joola, as this is a 5-star paddle prior to the reliability issue. ** UPDATE ** The website came back online after 12 hours. I filed a claim. The next day, they reached out to me to offer a replacement paddle. Wonderful customer service. I changed the rating to 5-star. ... show more

This is my third pickleball racket. I like the feel and the slim, large contact area of this paddle, and has a longer grip area. With the longer grip I am able to stabilize the paddle better and not flick my wrists. I have more control. I did add a few pickle ball weights to the edge and added additional wrapping to the handle. ... show more

So I have only been playing about a year of pickleball. I have been using some paddles my wife had bought and they were cheap, but worked. I have a tendency to always spin the ball when I play. I wanted to spin it more, but with the cheap paddles, I was working them to their max. I bought my wife a better paddle as we were to be in a tournament. I played with her paddle and it is nice, I like the differences, so I started looking for a paddle for me, I came across the reviews on this one. It is pricey, but worth it. The reaction of the ball to the paddle is amazing. It is grips, and has a bigger sweet spot like I would have on a tennis racket. I was very impressed. I even had some of my spins back up the ball on a dink, which I was never able to do with the cheap paddles. Well worth the money, it is quality, it is so much better than I thought it might be. Does Mr. Amazon or Mr. Ben Johns actually read these reviews? While many users seem pleased, a significant number, myself included, appear to have received paddles with quality control issues. I have played pickleball for over 10 years including numerous tournaments, so I know the difference between a paddle that is well-made and one that is not. This paddle is promoted as having an "edge to edge" sweet spot. If so, I still can't find it. Most shots result in a wimpy "dink" sound and head straight into the net or out of bounds but certainly not in the direction I intended. I spent a month trying to break in the paddle but it remains stubbornly inconsistent. It is like playing with a ping pong paddle and would return it but I see that I am past the deadline. Also, when I received my paddle I noticed an ugly scar on the handle suggesting the paddle may have been returned once already or simply the quality control of the manufacturer was lacking, but I tried to ignore it because I wanted to use the paddle in an upcoming tournament. I made an expensive mistake with this purchase and have gone back to my cheaper, more reliable paddle. PLEASE, PLEASE Mr. Ben Johns or Mr. Amazon, give me my money back ... or replace my clunker with a good one. ... show more

When I unwrapped the paddle I immediately took it to the courts to play some games. After a couple of days of playing, I loved the paddle and what it was able to help me do. But the first time I used the paddle in practice, I knew it was the paddle I would be using for a long time. We practiced serves and I discovered I could hit the ball much harder and still keep my serves in bounds.
