My previous cookware set was a T-Fal set that was absolutely horrible, so I was not interested in getting another one. But this set had the highest rating of all cookware sets on Amazon in my price range, and let me tell you, I am SO GLAD I GOT THIS ONE! This cookware is AMAZING! Out of all the cookware I have owned in my life, this one by far, is my #1 favorite, it is the easiest to cook with and the easiest to clean. This cookware set has explicit instructions on how to season it before the first use, and how often it needs to be re-seasoned. Because of arthritis I never owned any iron cookware, so I had never seasoned a piece of cookware before. But T-Fal's instructions are very easy to follow and made seasoning a breeze! Did I mention how easy it is to clean? Everything wipes right out with a paper towel before washing! No sticking at all! The instructions say you can put these in the dishwasher, but T-Fal RECOMMENDS handwashing, which is what I do. It also says you can use metal utensils on this cookware, but again, T-Fal RECOMMENDS that you use plastic or wooden utensils. BE AWARE - T-Fal RECOMMENDS that this set not be heated above medium heat, as it can cause warping and such. At first, I was disappointed to learn this. But the Titanium heats fairly fast and cooks great at medium heat, and even sears meats. I have an electric stove; the temperature controls for the stove top burners range between 1-10, and the highest heat I have used with these is 6.5 on occasion, but normally, I use them at around 5-5.5, and my food cooks perfectly.

I wanted to wait at least a couple after my initial purchase to write a review, since writing an immediate review offers little information as to the durability of the product. I purchased my first T-Fal set of pots and pans nearly 45 years ago, and never regretted the decision, just as I've not regretted this one. After several months of use, the pots and pans looks as they did when I purchased them, no discoloring, and no scratches. The only thing that is slightly affected is the bottom of the pans where they are frequently slid back and forth over the stove top burner. Of course, this poses no problem for me, as I'm not concerned about the bottom, and as stated, it's only slightly affected. One of the things that I really like about this set is the "weight" of them. They aren't lightest pots and pans, neither are they the heaviest. They are in fact, about medium weight and thickness. I suppose you could say they are in the "Goldie Locks" zone, in other words, the weight and thickness are "just right." As I am not always careful about storing my pots and pans, I decided with this set to purchase some pot and pans dividers/protectors which can be cut to size and placed on the inside surface of the pans to keep them from coming into contact with the other pots and pans, thus preventing accidental scratching, especially, if one tends to "toss" them into the cupboard, instead of gently laying them down. Everything about this T-Fal set is by and large "pros." However, there is one slight "con," and that is because of the way the bottom of the set is designed for optimum heat distribution, they are prone to sliding around on the stove top. This problem is solved easily enough by just holding onto the handle when stirring anything. It might seem like a small nuisance, but like anything, doing frequently, it will become a habit, and you will doing it without thinking about it. Actually, I would think this would be the safest way to stir things on the stove even if they didn't tend to slide a little. With this set, I did take the time to read quite a few of the reviews, and I was impressed to say the least. One video review showed a customer who had bought this same set about five years before, as well as the same set recently. I was quite impressed with the five-year old set as it looked brand new, except with a little wear on the bottom. Oh yes, there is one more "con," sort of, and that is there aren't lids for every pot and pans, in fact, there about half as many lids and there are pots and pans, although, each lid fit two pots or pans. So, if it were possible, I would purchase lids for all of them, despite the fact that it really isn't necessary seeing as most people only have four burners on their stove, and foods that had already been cooked would most likely have been placed into bowls. But, what if I didn't want to place it in a bowl, and wanted to set the whole thing aside with the lid on it? But alas, me thinks I will survive this great disadvantage. Obviously, a person could spend a lot more money on a set of pots and pans, but for everyday cooking, I don't think you could purchase a better set, at least, not for the money. Ken

It's been about 10 years since we got new pots and pans. I did a lot of research and looking around at various brands and styles of cookware. Stainless steel, ceramic, titanium, cast iron etc. After reading a lot of the reviews regarding the ceramic ones, people had mentioned that you got to be we're real careful with them because they'll chip easily. Stainless steel isn't really nonstick, we have cast iron and we use it for some things and it's great for that. But we need it a really good all-around pots and pans set. I was weary about buying this brand because it's literally a brand they sell at Walmart. I wanted good quality, not Walmart crap. This set of pots and pans had the highest number of stars amongst all the different styles of cookware. The price was good too. I figured I'd give it a try. It's Amazon. I can always return it after being about 3 weeks in to using these, I got to say they are phenomenal. I love them, my wife loves them. Absolutely non-stick. No butter spray or anything like that needed. They clean up super easy. You don't have to worry about being gentle while storing them and stacking them within each other. They cook evenly And they seem like they're very well built. Don't be fooled by the brand name and the fact that you can just pick them up at Walmart. These are on a different level of quality. I'd recommend them to anybody. Great stuff
