Very nice addition to my sound system. For the price it was nice upgrade however still need to play with the settings to try and bring out its full potential. Overall i'm very happy with this product

One of the best things about MTX, is they consistently underrate their products. This sub is " rated " for 250 watts rms and 500 watts peak, but can easily handle 300 watts rms and around 600 watts peak. For those on a tight budget, but still wanting to add great bass to their car audio, I definitely recommend this sub. ... show more

Ive had 2 of these subs for about 8 months, and the first 6 or 7 I only had a 550 watt amp hooked up to them and they sounded pretty good, but i thought they had more in them so i upgraded to a 1000 watt amp. After about 2 weeks one had a power cable melt off the push terminal for it, which I fixed myself. Then a week later, the other one did the same. Now they don't quite sound the same as they used to but i've just decided to get a different brand now. ... show more

The sub I received had a sticker on the back claiming only 200w RMS, so I checked with MTX, and they verified the serial matched a 2021 model which is rated for 250w RMS. if you get one that says 200, check with MTX

The reviews speak for themselves. A new design that's ready for years of heart pounding thunder. I'm running two of these at 300 watts rms each in a sealed enclosure that has approximately .6 cubes of space per side. In a nutshell...I'm over the top satisfied!!!
