Bought this for a pool party that's going to be at night, but haven't used it in the pool yet(Which is why I will mention that I will be fixing this review upon after actually using it). It came in a small box(didn't expect it to be this small), both pool lights were in a bubble wrap pouch, it does not come with the batteries needed(You need three AAA batteries for both). It came with instructions, which are really easy to follow, comes with multiple modes, and it does TURN OFF(I've seen a few reviews saying it doesn't, but it does.) In order to turn it off, you have to hold the on/off button for 3-5 seconds. The instructions also say not to submerge the light, aka let it float and do its thing, and let the kids know not to dunk it under the water. The instructions also say it has a clear waterproof ring along the seal of the battery compartment, to keep it tight. It's a pretty light but I prefer using it outside the pool. Inside the pool it's pretty but not very bright.

    • Don’t waste your money
Each light take three batteries. Once you install them there is no on /off switch. You have to unscrew the top and remove the batteries. Used them once and moisture got into the battery chamber. The lights are not very bright. Not good in large pools. I bought four and they floated to the sides. I won’t use them again. Big waste of money. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. These lights are amazing! Just with having 2 lights our pool was lit up so nicely! Must have!!

They do not keep water out. First one quit working second day and had water inside causing the metal inside to rust and burn out the battery. Was not happy with the purchase at all. Also more for a pond or hot tub. Being in the pool they find their way in the skimmer since they are very small. And perhaps would work better water tight wise if not in moving water like a pool. Prolly better in a pond. ... show more

They work and are water tight, but they are not very bright at all. If looking for something cool for a larger pool, look for something more powerful. If small in ground pool for a one day party gimmick, this is about right.

These are so cool! Easy to put batteries in and it has several color settings! It’s perfect for night time swimming! Definitely adds a little extra fun for the kids

    • CUTE & FUN!
Super cute but better fitted to a shallow pond rather than a swimming pool, so I'll be buying a couple more to make them more noticeable as the 2 I have kind of get "lost" in the 12'x22' pool...lots of settings to blink or fade so that's really fun, but water WILL get inside of them if they rock around too much from people messing around in the pool, so make sure to take them out of the water when not using & just pop a battery out in between uses otherwise they'll just randomly turn on (which is kind of funny, but it will fry the batteries quickly)....we are enjoying them & do recommend them, but like I said, you'll need more than just a couple to really make an impact in a swimming pool setting. ... show more
