There’s a quirk using this. It works, but you need compatible electronics and that does not mean they need to simply be rated for 240v. When you arrive at a charge station, simply pay and connect the product. It will simply say it started charging and the red LED will illuminate. One of the station plugs wouldn’t align right but the other did. That’s not a fault of this device. Although the station may claim the charge is complete because the current consumed to charge at 2-3 amps is so low, it’ll keep electricity flowing until you decide to stop. For example, my Anker 67W mini GaN charger got very confused by it. Although it’s rated for 240v, it would start charging and then stop. My included scooter charger worked to charge the battery, but the scooter electronics that would normally show state of charge shut down until the charger was disconnected. The scooter works fine, so it just needs to be charged blindly. My other phone charger worked to charge both my power bank and my phone without glitching. Consider using a power bank with a digital display to monitor charging state. With that in mind, I happily paid $0.07 for 2 hours and 40 minutes to charge my phone and my scooter at a ChargePoint station. It will be interesting to test a high current scooter charger that I ordered next and I need to find a suitable laptop charger. Recharging at 12 amps is far more interesting than at 2 amps. :)

Improperly wired, keeps tripping surge protector with "Reverse Polarity" message. Charge station works properly when not using adapter.

It easily connects to my local EV charging station. I currently use it to charge my battery generator, and plan to use it for charging my scooter. It has a great build quality, and is a value for your money if you plan on charging multiple times. It fits compact for storage, and is a great item. I highly recommend it!

This works perfectly. I can plug in at any J-1772 EV port and charge my EcoFlow power station without taking it out of the car. This creates a mobile AC outlet at any J1772 EV station. There's this Nema 5-15 or a Nema 5-20. Nema 5-15 is normal household power outlets. I also have a male J1772 to Tesla adapter that connects to this Nema/J1772 so I can use Tesla EV charging stations too. See pics. Hope this review helps 😁☺️.

Wasn't able to charge a power bank with it. Haven't tried an E-biles yet. Seems like an outstanding idea, but not sure if the EV stations will allow. The systems in place maybe looking for an EV TYPE of ground. A 1330 A-h solar generator couldn't connect. Trying to charge a DBS 1300 SOLAR GENERATOR ......wasn't able to transfer any power.

This adapter does exactly what it is supposed to do, allows you to plug and US standard NEMA 5-15P plug into a J1772 EV charger. It passes through the AC voltage of the charger, 120V for level 1 chargers and 240V for level 2 chargers. Make sure whatever you are plugging into this adapter can accept the voltage it provides. If not it may burn something out. This price was a bit high when I got this, close to $50. But I wanted it for testing my J1772 installation at my home. I also wanted it to be able to charge my electric scooter if it ran out of battery and I was far from home. The adapter seems well manufactured and sturdy.
