Seems to be well built. Easily assembled. Color was perfect and as described. I bought the tan to hopefully minimize fading. Fabric seems to be reasonably thick for the price and of good quality. Shades the sun well for a comfortable, shaded area to sit under. Base comes with 2 bags to fill with sand. (Sand not included) and it comes with a water resistant cover for the base. I am happy with this umbrella. Received quickly, was easy enough for me to assemble it on my own. The only thing that required more work than I anticipated was the sand bags. I went to Lowes to buy sand and purchased 150 lbs of sand for around 24 dollars. I made the mistake of choosing a broken cart, as well as choosing a bag of sand with a hole in it which i didnt realize til I was struggling through the parking lot in 98 degree heat asking myself why I am this way. Thankfully my husband helped me fill the bags that come with the umbrella, which made it easier for me. I could have done it alone but I would have needed a glass of wine first. All in all seems a great umbrella and for the price especially i am pleased. Opens and closes easily and provides great coverage in our very hot area of the San Joaquin Valley. ... show more

Absolutely better than expected. I attached the base to 4 pieces of 18 inches concrete blocks with 8 concrete bolts and placed the sand bags and buried them. But I live in FL and these are for playground. So most probably just placing sand bags is enough. I like the material, sturdy and durable.
