It’s a basic sturdy hardware installation kit. Don’t let the scary “40 Pieces” scare you off. It’s a few main pieces and a bunch of screws and support pieces. I’m doing a lot of updating around the house and the patio badly needed a facelift. We live in sunny Florida so the sun sail was a no brainer. I initially tried the old tie it to the balcony rails at first but it was a mess and I don’t want to bend the rails if the mean-season storm hits while we’re at work so needed a better plan. This is a winner. Using this little jewel, I can keep the sail taut and disengage it quickly as necessary for safety. It looks nice too. For reference I am a 60 year old female and I found it easy to use with my power tools and a bit of WD-40. (Not that you need either but it goes faster. Nothing I disliked. Recommend.

Everything looks as advertised/described. The snap carabiners might be a little light, but everything else feels like good quality, heavy duty build. Especially the turnbuckles, which is where you'd want a bit more heft. Guess we'll see how the threads hold up once the gale force winds kick in. Price seems a "little" much, as some of the "40pcs" you get are only light-duty 1" screws, which honestly aren't quite the ticket for secure fastening of a shade sail or the like in my locale. So I'd say maybe include a bit stronger/longer ones, or leave 'em out and drop the price a bit. Other than that, I'd say it's a decent set.

I’m using these clips to hold up a sail shade as a divider in my run until the girls get along. That way they acclimate to the same environment slowly. The quality of these clips are sturdy, good size, I’m sure they can support a heavier fabric with their durability, great value and easy to install.

The kit is a very good value for what you get and it seems like a good quality product too. In the 40-piece set, you get enough that you can technically hang one rectangular shade sail if you don't need one side of it to have turnbuckles. I had extra carabiners that I used on one side, then the included carabiners and turnbuckles on the other side.

This shade sail hardware is heavy-duty and strong as can be. It comes with everything you need included, is simple to install and use, and the best part is that you can adjust your rope as you need to. Everything has held up really well. We've had some moderate to heavy winds and rain since I installed, and there are no signs of rust anywhere. If the wind gets bad enough I will take down my sail to avoid undue pressure on the posts, ropes, and fixtures, and at least twice recently I wasn't home to do it. No problem whatsoever, these held beautifully and they'll outlast the sail itself, no contest. This is a good quality set, convenient and easy to use, and a nice value. Highly recommend.

Buyer beware. Bought the set that came with 2 winches. Neither winch will crank/spool (whether or not you have your wire rope rigged) meaning neither winch works whatsoever. Unsure if this is simply a defective set and I just happened to be extremely unlucky, or if this is how the product is made and it simply isn't functional. I didn't see any other reviews for the winches here. Notably, it seems like others were happy with the other included hardware, in reviews that were for the non-winch sets. For me, the winches were the only thing I needed, and the sole reason I purchased this product. I cannot speak to the quality of the other included hardware as I will be returning the set. Very disappointed and would urge the seller to test the winches and fix them before selling any additional units.
