Fine product, but...

I've purchased similar umbrellas in the past. In fact, this is a replacement order for two umbrellas that broke at the tilt joint in moderate wind. Time will tell how these new ones hold up but they seem under-engineered compared to the last two: the pole gauge seems lighter and the canopy doesn't crank out to taut (there's more give and is looser when fully-open than previous umbrellas.) Regardless, I'm happy with the product since it's the only one I found online with the red-and-white striped pattern that I wanted. Note: I've learned to reinforce the tilt joint by slipping a piece of 2" white PVC pipe over it.

The media could not be loaded. Here’s a review for the umbrella: This black-and-white striped outdoor umbrella is exactly what I needed! It fits perfectly between my two Adirondack chairs, keeping the sun off during the hottest parts of the day. The swivel feature is a game-changer, allowing me to move the shade as needed. I’m considering purchasing more for different spots in my outdoor spaces. Highly recommend!

It’s great! I like that I can tilt it, easy up and down. I wish I were taller so I didn’t have to stand on a chair to tilt and straighten it ;) Great color I have green striped. The pole is made of sturdy wood. The pockets the arms are in seem strong, that’s a huge plus.

So happy I purchased two of them. The color is awesome and it hasn’t faded all summer. It’s quality construction and very easy to rise up the umbrella and lower the umbrella. It comes with plastic sleeves to put away the umbrellas for the season, which is very nice. I would definitely buy more if I needed them.

Should have gotten this the last time

We had a 10 foot patio umbrella that got hung up on our fencing and then picked up in one of our climate change howling winds that we NEVER get in CT, except we did. The umbrella pole broke at the crank and I purchased this one. Much better idea. Fits great. Looks better
