Well made. Steel is heavier than I expected it to be---nice surprise. As you can see it is a good looking unit. One person can assemble most of the unit with no help. However. When attaching the hood. You need a second pair of hands to support the hood while you align the holes and start the bolts. The unit does not come with the spark screen or the cover for the pit to keep water out of the bowl when it rains. So I ordered them separately. The cover for the bowl is a cooking grill that is 30 x 30, on top of which I placed a thin rubber mat i got from home depot---cut to size to sit on top of the grate. I got the spark screen from the pit seller because it is partially located under the slat roof of my cedar pergola. I can put the screen on if sparks rise out of the the unit too close to the roof. All in all I am very satisfied with the whole thing. It looks so nice I am almost reluctant to burn anything in it. Fall and winter is getting close though. We will see. ... show more

We purchased this to fit on top of our 30" x 30" square fire pit. When received, we are happy with the quality and construction of this. Future purchasers should know this screen is also exactly 30" x 30" which means it barely fits/stays on top of the fire pit. I had to pull/bend the sides out a bit for it to stay on top, which seems to work OK. Wish it were possible to order 31" x 31". ... show more
