I purchased this bike to help me with my blood sugar control as I am pre-diabetic and doing my best to stay off any medication. Because of this I find it necessary to be able to exercise everyday, no matter what kind of weather. Thankfully, I live in Florida which makes it very easy to vary my exercise regimen. However, there are those occasional rainy days and hot summers make it difficult. Let me begin by saying my fiance is a very experienced road rider and mountain biker. He also taught indoor spin classes for several years, so he has been on a lot of stationary bikes. Lucky for me, he is the one who assembled bike! LOL He was able to put it together in about 20 minutes. It would definitely have taken me a LOT longer, but I probably could have accomplished it by following the directions. Once assembled, it took a few minor tweaks to the pedals but it was relatively easy and straightforward. I have had the bike for several months now, and I have to say we are BOTH extremely pleased with the product! I rely a great deal on my fiance's input because he has ridden so many different bikes. He is very impressed with the quality and strength of the bike, considering its price! I am 5'6,150 lbs, and he is 6'3", 180 lbs, and we both are comfortable on it. The handlebar height is adjustable, and the seat is adjustable in both height and distance to the handlebars. The bike is VERY quiet, with only a slight creak when I cycle standing up, which is really nice to be able to give my bum a break! Fiance says he will make an adjustment to tighten things up a bit to eliminate that issue. The saddle is a pro riding saddle, and therefore will require cycling shorts and a period of breaking in, but after about a month of riding 3-4 times a week, I am able to ride for an hour pretty comfortably. As I said, the bike is VERY sturdy and well-built, and my fiance says it measures up quite well against many of the bikes he has used as a spin class instructor, just without the bells and whistles. It does have a pretty nice on board computer which tracks multiple types of stats. The heart rate monitor is spot on when compared to my Polar, and the stats will either scroll through or remain on one stat (like time elapsed), with a 2 second hold of the button. The handlebars are very comfortable, and there are several places to hold on or to use for your phone or tablet. It doesn't have a bottle holder, but there is a holder for 2 dumbbells, which I don't really use. One of the only slight drawbacks for this bike is the way to increase or decrease resistance. Like some of the older spin bikes, it has a knob that you turn, and is therefore quite unscientific. However, for my purposes it is sufficient as I simply turn it 1 to 1 1/2 times to increase or decrease. The magnetic resistance is very powerful, and my fiance likes that the resistance is smooth and doesn't cause any friction on any other parts. To us, it's definitely worth spending the extra money on the magnetic resistance. Overall, this is a FANTASTIC bike for the money, and my VERY perfectionist (when it comes to riding) fiance is extremely impressed! I wouldn't think of spending thousands on a Peloton just to get a few more tricks and the "luxury" of paying for a gym membership on top of that! Just put on YouTube and find any one of the numerous videos with cycling instructors or a loverly ride through the Italian alps (we have a 4K projector, so our screen is a whopping 10 feet across, and you feel like you are THERE!!). I feel that if you choose to buy this bike, you won't be disappointed. We haven't had any problems that require a call to customer support, so I can't speak to that issue. But we are extremely satisfied customers, and would recommend this bike to anyone looking to get or stay healthy when working out is so difficult during Covid. And in conclusion, I would like to say I have not been compensated in ANY way for this review. I haven't received any discounts or free products for writing it. I just hope to help others trying to make a sound decision on spending a significant amount of money on a product that would be difficult to return!! HAPPY CYCLING!!

I did a copious amount of research before purchasing this model, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. This bike was VERY easy to put together and has all the features that are important to me. It is extremely STURDY, which was one of the most important features to me. Also, the handlebar/grips are designed very well and give you a lot of options as to where to put your hands when changing positions. I love the 40lb magnetic flywheel, which is very smooth and offers lots of challenge. It's also very quiet - I have a thin stabilization mat underneath that seems to absorb any sound. The resistance dial is great and allows me to change the resistance in very small increments with a huge range. The bottle-holder is well-placed for easy access and the seat is adjustable in multiple ways and I can position it perfectly even though I'm tall (5' 9"). The pedals have the SPD clips on one side and a cage on the other. This was the other feature that was non-negotiable for me. I use the clips-side only, but the cages are of good quality. The only criticisms I have to offer are that the seat is very uncomfortable to sit on (which I've remedied by buying a $10 seat pad that does the trick) and the metrics display for Time, RPMs, Calories, etc. is very dim and hard to see - it really should have an LED backlight. Overall, I'm very happy and satisfied with this purchase - do not hesitate to buy this bike!

I really love the magnetic Synergy Pro w/ belt drive. It is a solid exercise bike that adjusts to a variety of positions that fit me, my wife, and my daughter. The original seat was not comfortable at all, especially for my wife and daughter - it was too narrow and firm for them. Still looking for the best replacement, but that won't be too difficult and is certainly not a deal-breaker. It was quite easy to put together by myself, but it would be helpful to have a second person to help with lifting the bike to attach the floor braces and feet. The handlebars do not fit flush against the bracket they're meant to rest on (the shape of the bracket does not come close to matching the shape of the handlebar base...a precision issue with manufacturing, specifications/quality control issue), but I was able to tighten the screws enough that they seem to be stable. I'll be watching this over time and hoping it doesn't become a problem. The bike has been very quiet during most rides I've taken. But I have heard a light scratching sound coming from either somewhere within the belt housing or pedals/cranks...I can't quiet isolate yet. I just hope it's not something that will worsen and cause wear on parts. I'm not too impressed with the quality/feel of the computer included. It works fine so far, but I worry a bit about its longevity. I wonder how accurate the calories burned really is - it shows I burned 975 cal in a 45-min ride averaging 23mph at 100 cadence. That's at least 400 more than what I do at my local YMCA! The ride is otherwise very smooth and enjoyable! I really like the different hand positions available on the handlebars, and love the tray for my phone or a tablet. The pedals are super solid and rotate smoothly, and I really like the cages to keep my feet in place (I'm not a clip guy myself). It has provided some excellent workouts so far! I'm glad I bought it.

Bike was relatively easy to assemble. It took a little longer to screw in the left pedal, but no real hiccups. Overall assembly took about an hour, a little more than because of the left pedal. I received the bike about 7am on a Wednesday and was riding it by that evening. This is a good bike. The wheel is silent. And magnetic tension is smooth. It does squeak when I’m in standing climb position and while not ideal, it doesn’t effect the performance of the bike. Overall, I’d say this is a very good bike. Since purchasing it, I’ve ridden it more than 10 times. So, I’d say this has been well worth the investment already.
