  • A decent piece of equipment, for the price.
So far the bike is working out well. I bought it for my mother so she could get some exercise while working from home and during the cold months of winter. It was easy enough to assemble and didn't have a ton of parts. When putting it together pay careful attention to the pedals and make sure you have the correct pedal for each side of the machine. They screw in opposite directions from one another and accidentally screwing them in the wrong way will strip the threading. When. Putting it together I did feel some of the peices were a little flimsy, especially the metal used in the digital tracker post at the front of the bike. The actual moving mechanisms of the bike felt sold in my estimation. Overall I wouldn't say it felt "cheap" but it did make me think anyone using the bike should be gentle, especially with the digital stand and the seat position locking lever. I like that it's magnetic resistance so it's easy for my mom to switch resistance levels and I don't need to worry about belts slipping/breaking. I purchased the 2 year warranty and I'd recommend any potential buyers do as well. Again, given the price, I don't feel this bike is a rip off and poorly made but it's not something that a large man would want to casually use force with. I like that it has wheels on one side (for tilting the bike up and transporting it) and it's slight elevation adjusters on either side for use on uneven flooring. This is a properly priced machine and so far I'm pleased with it. ... show more

  • Great bike!!!
Update: 9 Years later, the bike is still going strong! No squeaking, still quiet as ever, still pedal's smoothly. The only thing that has worn is the seat. Of the 9 years I've had the bike I've probably used it for 5 years, if that makes sense. I didn't use it daily and there were periods I didn't use it at all. Original Review: First off, I would definitely recommend this bicycle! Okay, so I am 5'5 and I had NO problems reaching the pedals and pedaling comfortably. I don't know about the others claiming they are 5'5 and how they couldn't reach the pedals. Pro: - Extremely quiet - Pretty affordable (even for a college student) $117 - Easy to put together (depending how familiar you are with tools), took me 1 1/2 hours. - Very sturdy, doesn't feel like it gonna break when you sit on it (I'm 170lbs) - Takes up SO little space. Being a college student, I live in a SMALL room and this fits perfectly. Folds up super easily too. Cons: - HOLY MOTHER OF JEEZUS. The seat is HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY uncomfortable. When I read the reviews about the seat being uncomfortable, I thought that they were being dramatic but holy seriously.... My butt and back hurt sooo much from sitting there. I think I'll have to add a pillow onto the seat. - Again, like the other reviews said, the resistance is pretty much non-existent. But after like 5 minutes for me, my legs still start to burn. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this bike. The quality is so nice for the price. If I had to buy this bike again I would. ... show more

  • Decent for the price
This bike ended up being a lot better than I anticipated. It's easy to assemble, although when I opened the box and saw the diagram with all the parts, I did get a bit overwhelmed by how many different components there are to the bike. But overall, it's not too bad if you take it step by step like the manual advises you to do. After assembling it, I got to test it out and thought it was nice enough. It's collapsible, so it takes up very little space against a wall or in a closet. It's also really quiet, so it won't be too distracting if you use it watching TV or listening to music. I'm about 5'7" with long legs and have no issue with the pedals on the lowest height setting, but I feel like if I was any shorter, it may be harder to reach them. I did get a silicon seat cover for the seat and even with a cover to help with the hardness of the seat, wow, it is so insanely uncomfortable. I know bikes aren't supposed to feel like a cushion, but I'm constantly shifting back and forth to avoid how awful this seat feels. My only real issue with this bike is the sensor. Maybe this is just mine, but that the little tab on the back of the sensor that secures it to the bike bends easily and will always be a little loose because it started getting a weird crack in it. Overall, it's a good bike that serves its purpose. Not the best, but definitely not the worst, by far. ... show more
