This is a well made stainless steel fire pan. 3 tubes with holes throughout. Holes face down so the gas point down and assume the flames point down as well. OK for natural gas but not so good for propane that is heavier than air. Can connect your pipe on either end of the main tube. Reasonably heavy weight but I do get an occasional "oil canning" metal popping sound as it heats up. Likely the bottom plate flexing as heated causing the noise. Does it as it cools down too. Well made and easy to install. My husband had it installed in under 15 minutes. And that’s with watching a YouTube video just to be sure we were doing it right. So happy with our fireplace that we’ve been waiting 7 years to do. Kit comes with all hardware you need. Just need the pipe dope or tape for natural gas. We added fire glass but I’m sure the artificial logs would look good too. ... show more

This is a nice quality burner . It worked well for my application and was simple to install . My only negative is the flex gas supply hums too much at a higher BTU .

I have two fire places and needed a new pan. I can not get over how much better the triple gas bars look over the double bars and on top of that it's stainless steel. Will have to buy another one now.

The media could not be loaded. We are very happy with this burner. We upgraded today from a single tube burner and the difference is staggering. I placed a bunch of 1/2”-1” lava rocks in the pan and then placed fibers on top to simulate embers. The look is quite good. Video included. Note: the output goes up higher than what’s shown on the video but this is the ideal balance of flames for us. Turning up higher is over what it’s rated for and the you will hear the flow of the gas. ... show more

The gas whistle is loud with this burner, the fire effect is very nice but the loud whistle it makes is annoying, I don't know that we'll be keeping this long term because of the noise.

replaced a log starter with this gas burner. Only thing it was missing was a right angle connector which you don't have to have but would have been nice to have!
