The 2 pack stainless steel litter boxes are taped together with a blue tape that leaves a tacky residue. It’s a good thing that I have lemon oil to rub all of it off. Also one of them had a couple of indentations in the corners even though the package was intact. I bumped them out carefully as much as I could with a towel wrapped punch and rubber mallet. I’ve been looking for small sifting stainless steel litter boxes for awhile and aim to keep these. These litter boxes aren’t cheap so I expect them to be in good condition. Love this for my love pellets. Much easier to clean and reduces smell even more i feel. Was a little pricy so almost passed up but stainless may be better in long run too. Bought one for my daughter as well.

When I received the box I noticed it had a rough texture on the walls of the box due to the lazer cutting of the sifter. I had decided maybe it wouldn't be an issue and decided to go ahead and use the box. A month after use those rough tiny spots are rusting from the splash of cat urine. I have also noticed rust in the bottom of the actual box, as i do not line my box because I am able to go and pour it outside to use less plastic. I tend to switch between a second bottom box i previously had before this one, shifting the top sifter between the two. In just two weeks of use this one has rusted and discolored. My assumption this isnt pure stainless steel and I am going to have to replace it shortly. Would not recommend this item, if it has been made of better materials and not have the damage to the side walls from being lazer cut, then maybe it would have lasted longer. ... show more

Easy to deal with! No litter tracking anymore! I have 2 large male cats and this is perfect! I use mine in my RV and it sits in the shower. I’ve only had one “over the edge” incident since I got it and it wasn’t urine. If you have boys that need higher sides go bigger!!
