  • Sturdy and fun

This is sturdy enough for older kids/teens and small enough for younger kids - great product!

  • Active fun for kids
Style: Freestyle - Blue
I got this board for my 3 year old son for his birthday and he absolutely loves it. He is a very active child and had been asking for a skateboard for a while now, but I was very worried since I am not sure he can really handle it yet. The spooner board is an amazing idea! he's had it for a week now and you can totally see the improvement in his stability! i showed him the ad video for it and he quickly picked up tricks and is attempting to do them now. It's so versatile he can go from standing on it to jumping and spinning, he lays on his tummy and spins with it so it keeps him busy for a long time and away from TV/electronics which is why i wanted it in the first place :) We had him start using it on the carpet as it is less slippery so he can gain balance, and a couple of days later he started using it on the marble floors. I am sure with time he will be able to do much better with it too so the fun is only beginning i'm sure. ... show more

  • Big Hit with Kids and their Mom
Style: Freestyle - Blue
After reading Amazon reviews of toys for a 4-year-old boy, I bought one of these for my grandson's birthday present. He loved it, as did his 6-year-old sister and 1.5 year old little sister. I just ordered two more for the girls. All different colors, of course! (The little one just laid down in it and liked being spun around.) Their Mom, my daughter, now wants an adult-size one for herself. It's very sturdy, promotes balance and encourages creativity for the many ways it can be used. ... show more

  • My son loves his!
Style: Freestyle - Blue
My son received a spooner for Christmas this year, and has spent some afternoons at our nearby park "riding" his with his cousin (who has one too). The one he received is the smaller size, and I would say that for a tall 9 year-old, he would probably have fit the longer board better. This board is great because it gives him a way to practice the balance and agility he needs to ride his skateboard, but he doesn't need us to take him to a skatepark to use it. He has used a grassy slope and bark covered hill at our park to practice, and even our living room for flipping the board. This is a great way to move into more dangerous skateboarding, and would be appropriate for as young as 5 years old. ... show more

  • Perfect for my standing desk to help with plantar fasciitis
Style: Freestyle - Blue
I teach middle school Spanish, and I have this at my standing desk to wiggle on and stretch my feet while I work. It has been durable (I’m a grown woman, 5’8 and 185 lbs.) Students have used it occasionally in the way it was intended, and it has held up for them as well. Compared to other balance boards marketed to adults, this is reasonably priced. It is not as wobbly as other balance boards are, but that might be a benefit when having to concentrate. If I had to focus on extreme balance and also concentrate on work, it might be more difficult, and there would be a higher barrier to using the board. I can see myself saying, “oh, I have to focus, I can’t use the balance board now or I might hurt myself”. With the spooner, I drag it around with my feet and mess around on it almost unconsciously. ... show more

  • not as challenging as expected
Style: Freestyle - Blue
Got these for our 2 and 5 year old kids. They enjoy playing with them, but they're not as challenging to balance as I thought they would be. Also, they really aren't worth what I paid for them (I think it was $44 each). I'm not sure why they were so expensive.
