The TI89 is a beast of a calculator, and can do almost any math you can throw at it. Imaginary numbers in rectangular and polar form? Check. Infinity? Check. Factoring and algebra? You bet. If you are an EE or any other engineering field, you need one of these. Literally the only downside is it's not backlit. TI - if you are listening, make another TI-89 but with a backlit display!!! ... show more

The TI-89 Titanium is an excellent calculator. It's essential for my Calc 3 and Linear Algebra classes. Unfortunately, my TI-89 Titanium was shipped with the wrong USB cable. (Refurbished) UPDATED: November 1, 2023 - Turns out the USB port inside the calculator seemed to be misaligned with the plastic casing.
