I have this kettle in white and absolutely love it!! It heats up so fast and turns off automatocally! It is well built and user friendly. I have had mine for well over a year without a single issue. I have not experienced any of the issues as mentioned by other reviewers and believe me this little kettle has been put to the test as I use it on the daily!! I bought it because the price was perfect for my budget and I LOVE that it lights up...adds fun to the kitchen!

I like almost everything about this electric kettle. It has a small footprint on my counter, it is pleasing to look at, and it comes in enough colors that you should be able to match your kitchen. The price is reasonable as well. My only problem is the kettle does not automatically shut off as advertised. I don’t know about y’all, but I’m a little forgetful at times. I’ll turn the kettle on and then walk away, and forget it. If it doesn’t shut off, it’s dangerous to leave this glass kettle boiling furiously on my counter. Since it takes 5 minutes or more to heat up, I don’t plan on standing and just staring at it until it’s at the right temperature. So I guess I’ll just set a timer. Other than that hiccup, it’s a great kettle. Edit: I discovered that this kettle DOES shut off automatically, 30 seconds after it begins boiling. I’ve adjusted my stars accordingly.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this electric kettle!!! You will too! The blue LED light is so fun and shines through the bubbly, boiling water. How cool is that? Brings joy to my day :) Thoughts and User Error (my fault): First of all, do not hand wash this electric kettle when it arrives. I always wash everything and did not read the directions first. Instead, boil two pots of water as per the manufacturer’s directions to clean the inside of the electric kettle. (You can clean the outside when necessary with a lightly damp cloth as per the directions). Since I hand washed my kettle as soon as it arrived, I somehow got water where it wasn’t supposed to be and so the kettle worked for one second and then shut off. Great safety feature! Excitement gone. I saw the pretty blue lights and then nothing. My heart sank. Then I read the directions. I realized my error that I was to not wash the kettle. I immediately tried to shake any water out of the bottom side of the kettle and then set the kettle aside to dry out for several days. Fingers crossed. Then several days later, I tested it again and low and behold, it worked! (I had only washed the inside of the kettle but I must’ve dripped water somewhere I shouldn’t have during the process. Also, it was a little difficult to wash inside the kettle (tight opening for a hand to fit) so that probably should have been my first clue). This electric kettle is so stylish and functional at the same time. I highly recommend the white color. It really looks clean on the counter and the blue light really pops with the white and stainless. I contemplated getting a fun color like pink, but am happy I chose white. I almost immediately ordered a second kettle after I thought I broke this one as even in that first glimpse, I knew it was cool and I’d really enjoy it each day! Heats extremely fast and is just SO fun to watch! I think it is a good value too. I researched numerous brands and stores and this one had the features I was looking for. Simple, clean design, not a ton of buttons, I can see the water level, easy pouring, heats quickly, I can turn it off if I want just hot water rather than boiling because I can see what stage it is at, and as a bonus, it has the fun blue light! As a HUGE tea lover who brews multiple cups a day, the Peach Street Brand 1.7L 1500W Speed-Boil Water Electric Kettle in White has been a fantastic addition to my little sitting room. This kettle is not only super functional but also adds a touch of elegance with its sleek white design and cool blue LED light that lights up while boiling. The borosilicate glass construction is both durable and aesthetically pleasing. The auto shut-off feature is a lifesaver, ensuring I never accidentally leave it on. 3-year Update: I never wrote a review after the first purchase three years ago but here I am now back to buy another one. This has been hands down the best EVERY SINGLE DAY USED electric kettle. It’s never lost how fast it heated up nor how hot it got. Pretty much everything worked on it until maybe a year ago when it stopped turning off on its own after boiling. It is a nice feature to have because of piddling around but not a deal breaker. I’ve primarily used it to boil water but recently tried boiling tea in it and turn out perfect. There are some what I suspect rust spots in the heating metal where it meets the water but could be the Houston water and I used a Brillo pad once to clean the junk from the hard water. I’m here to buy another one that’s fresh and new and will continue to use the old one but primarily for tea and stuff. Highly recommended!
