    • Lightweight but kinks

I was attracted to this garden hose because of its claim to be safe for potable water, which is quite unusual for a hose that isn't colored white and specifically marketed for the camper market. I hoped to be able to use it for gardening in the summer and the camper in the winter when we go south. The hose is supple and lightweight, and the unique pivoting connector on the male end is perfect for connecting to the water inlet of a camper without stress. Unfortunately, partly owing to the 50 ft length, it really tangles and kinks easily. I have tried so many hose types and brands, I'm starting to believe that only genuine old fashioned rubber hoses are the only solution for kinking--if only they weren't so awfully heavy. Still, the price is good on this SPECILITE hose and, with a little care to avoid kinking, it's quite easy to work with. I recommend it as an average garden hose.... ... show more

    • Nice hose for a lighter weight hose .

I receive my hose right before going on vaction and since then I haven't had too much time to use it since we've had a lot of rain. The first good thing was the fast shipping. I don't have Amazon prime but this hose came within a few days of ordering. But the 1st thing I noticed was that it wasn't as stiff and bulky as some other hoses I've had. I am able to maneuver it without fighting it. It has a connection which swivels nicely. It holds it shape on my hose hanger. My old lightweight cheap hose tended to crimp and fold over on my holder . I can wrap this one around my hose holder and it still retains its shape. (I tried to upload a photo of this new one hanging but couldn't get it to upload) I also like the rubber guards on either ends which help support the hose. I was close to giving it a 5 stars but since it is lightweight I want to use it for a while to make sure that it holds up as well as it seems like it might. All in all a nice hose. ... show more

Amazing hose and perfect length I needed for my yard and garden. I needed a hose that wasn’t going to kink and something that had great water pressure. This hose delivers on both fronts. I waited to do the review to see if it would last. Still looks like the day we got it.
