My daughter got this for Christmas and we are finding it’s perfect for cheer. The pockets hold her shoes, socks, bow, hair essentials including brush and fake ponytail, and underwear. Uniform fits nicely inside. The whole thing zips up so she can carry it herself…mom win! The glitter outside is rather rough but NO glitter falls off…another mom win! When open the whole thing hangs from a hook in the closet. There’s also a large pocket on the back which could hold some makeup and hairspray if you aren’t traveling by air of course. Color is light pink and super cute. Have recommended to our team and would think it would be a good fit for dance athletes too!

We use this for our cheer uniform. It fits our hair piece, zip ties, makeup, and all accessories and easy for transport. The glitter doesn't come off which is nice to not have that everywhere. It could be set up on the top a little better so the hanger could fit through the top but otherwise it's nice.

I wanted to use this for dance outfits -- to try something different than the clear plastic ones typically found for dance outfits (think Dream Duffle or Rac n Roll accessories). First -- it does sparkle! The material is a wee rough to the touch, but not really that much of an issue. The awesome thing is that the sparkle does not come off! You can rub and rub, and that sparkle stays (obviously with long term wear you might develop some bald patches, but that would be normal wear & tear you would see on any fabric). The liner inside is nice and the pockets roomy and the zippers substantial that I am not worried about them wearing out. The bag folds in half for carrying and the handles are super convenient-- unlike the typical dance bags where you have to carry by the hanger. Folded the bag fits nicely into the dance bags -- I have a medium size Rac n Roll and it fits perfectly. This bag does not fit so well in the carryon size bags (21"). The hanging hook is not my favorite-- not as good for hanging on dance bag rods but it is perfect for hanging over a door or on a regular closet rod. I also wish there was a way to easily adjust the length of the chain for the hook. Another thing I consider a downside is the two lower zippered pockets inside open toward the bottom of the bag. Not a big deal if working with the bag laid out, but hanging, stuff will want to fall out once the compartment is unzipped. I do think they could have trimmed the bag up width wise; considering who they are marketing this to and yet making it wide enough to fit a man's suit. All in all, I love the bag -- I think it's a better fit for our needs-- I plan on getting different colors (to differentiate the different costumes) because it is so much easier to work with than standard garment bags. Plus-- who doesn't love a bit sparkle!!

The media could not be loaded. The product description information seems to be accurate. I can see why the NGIL Glitter travel bag includes cheer costume in the product title. The outside is fun, it's glittery, the bag has many pockets and the width of the bag isn't as large as the travel suit/dress bag I used for work. But, this one is designed much better. The bag folds in half when zipped close so you won't risk dragging the bottom of the bag on the floor. There is an attached, seemingly very strong hook, under which is a place for you to hang your outfits on your hangars. There are 4 nice size inside pockets, and a long outer pocket. The glitter is really nice. The company posted a video of glitter not transfering to a person's hand but, I tried for myself (and uploaded my own video). It's true, no glitter transferred. If you have a child involved in dance, plays, travel where they'd only need maybe 3 outfits that must be kept wrinkle-free, this is an excellent bag. After putting down my phone, I added a zipper sweatshirt, two pairs of fingerless gloves (those went in inner pockets) and an infinity scarf (at the bottom of the long inner zipper compartment. There was still room for slippers, pairs of underwear, bras, etc. If I was going to use this for an away-event (like a wedding), I'd put the dress, shoes, and jewelry in the travel bag and use my travel makeup bag for cosmetics, skincare, shampoo, toothbrush, etc. For a teen girl, she might have plenty of room in the outer pocket of the travel bag for the items I'd carry in my makeup bag. I hope the bag holds up because it really does look to be well designed.

This is not a toy but a real-life garment bag! Lots of useful pockets and zippered pouches. Folds up nicely into a size that can be handled by smaller humans. Heavy duty hanging hardware and big zippers make this a good value. The glitter on the outside doesn’t seem to flake off like a lot of glitter things - this is a big bonus for a guy like me that hates glitter and micro plastics just as much as I love cheer!
