When open the whole thing hangs from a hook in the closet. There’s also a large pocket on the back which could hold some makeup and hairspray if you aren’t traveling by air of course. Bought this garment bag for my little dancer. It is a great bag! Lots of great pockets. I love how there is and inside hook for the hangers and a hook to hang the bag up while competing or for storage. My only complaint is that my particular hook was loose and I had to bend the hook so the chain didn’t slide off. But that was an easy fix! ... show more
