Been using this charger for over a month now and there are no issues. The maximum current is 40A, but you can also set it to 32, 16, etc. Just make sure your setting does not exceed what the EV can support! My EV's max charging current is only 32A so it didn't work the first time. You can set this on the charger itself or typically on the EV as well. Otherwise the charger is easy to use. Wifi functionality works although I haven't spent too much time with it - I usually just plug it in overnight and everything's good in the morning.

I like the fact that I can charge my wife's 2017 Ford and my 2023 Jeep in half the time it takes to change just one car with a Level 1 charger. Of course, we had to have an outlet installed dedicated to this Level 2 charger, but that is to be expected with any Level 2 charger. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it does not have its own app. You have to connect to it as a Wi-Fi network and then hit a URL and of course when you're connected to it as your Wi-Fi

With all the different chargers out there with crazy set ups it is hard to know what to buy. You need, no, must buy this one. I plug it in to the wall, then my car and it just works. No time wasted, just simple straight to it charging. No failures, no hot wires, no fuss. I had a chargepoint brand charger. Got so hot it heated up my breaker box. Constantly failed then tech support logged into it and bricked it. Took six weeks and many calls to get it replaced. Now the new chargepoint sits in its box, collecting dust. This is my charger now and forever. Oh, by the way, I can just pick it up and take it with me. Ditch your chargepoint brand and buy this now.

First charger for us, and it has proven to be a great purchase, seems well made, and comes with a simple to install wall mount bracket. We installed a 40 amp 220 outlet so we are able to take advantage of the full 40amps of power which pumps in 7.6 kwh which is awesome! That's just 5 hours to take me from 20% to 80% in my EV which my normal fill up. For those with 32 amps or less it has multiple options to charge at each of those levels automatically or you can select it yourself as well (40, 32, 24, 16, 19 it seems). Anyways, we are pleased with our choice.

It is working great. I was able to run 2 cycles from 15 to 90 percent of my IONIC 6 and no issues at all. The cable is tick but it dissipates the heat better. Highly recommended.

This is a great alternative for home charging your EV. I installed a new circuit breaker in my home electric panel, ran a new outlet and was ready to charge my car. The charger operation is simple and installation was quick, it's working as expected. The only issue was comparing the pictures in the installation manual vs. the real charger. The AC power is going to the top of the device instead of the bottom, making the installation a little bit complicated and the device is lower than expected. The App connection is good but you have to use a private Wifi from the device instead of other mechanisms like bluetooth, etc. It does the job well and hopefully will last more than other device from other brand which lasted 6 months and return and repair to/back China cost more than the device.
