I’ve been having these for 4 months now and I can safely say that they’re really good. They bright really well, cool thing is that the 3 exterior lights (not the center one) can move around which is nice if you want them to light more of an area. I like how they’re really good against weather. It rains here a lot in Northern California and recently even more, they’ve gone against rain, wind and sun, and they still light up and work very good. The motion detection is very good. It can brighten up from afar which is good for when walking outside or when I’m entering my driveway. The battery life is extremely well, we recently had some fog for a long time and they had plenty of charge during those days. I faced them toward the sun, I let them charge a few days then went out and turned them on. Settings were easy to change to the motion activated extra bright light after the sun is down. My dogs and a hand wave will trigger them to go on but small critters and bugs don't seem to trigger them and waste battery life. Nice mount options. Easy to set up the solar panel to get light & the lights to light up the area I wanted. Rugged construction, no leaks or fading plastics and they've been in the sun with some wind and rain for weeks now. They can be blindingly bright if you're facing right at them. Would be nice if you could shade the light going forward or angle the main light down more. They light up about 30 feet in a radius well. They can be angled to light up the sides and straight down but the main light is basically facing forward. I mounted mine on a shed and a tree. They're both just a little above head height, so when they're triggered (by something being straight in front of them) the light is bright and facing right towards you, so it's easy to go temporarily night blind from them. One more downside is the light does not stay on long. It can be activated multiple times in a row and shines bright but it goes out after about 20 seconds, with no adjustment for duration on the setting I use. Overall though A+ I really like them for the cost, style & durability. I will buy more to light up more dark corners when the dogs trigger them, so I can keep an eye on them. ... show more

    • Bright, don’t freak out ever time they come on and you’ll be very happy
These lights are nice and bright, and they do seem to charge well from solar power. The only complaint I have, is they come on and go off constantly. I believe my brother adjusted how sensitive they are, or he said he did, but it hasn’t stopped. I suppose there’s always the remote possibility that someone’s triggering both of the lights on opposite sides of the house constantly, but I kind of doubt it. Still, they are bright, and you can see the areas well when they light up. So far they’ve held up to the weather, and were easy to put up. I suppose I’d rather have them come on too often than not at all. They were a great price and I’d buy them again. ... show more

We picked these lights up to brighten up the area where we park by our outbuilding. Reading some of these reviews, we decided to only put up one, and keep the other for when the first one quit working (expecting a few months or maybe a year later). Two years later, I'm here to report that the first unit is still working great! We have ours set to always on but 'dim' at dark, and 'bright' when detecting motion. It is just perfect. It does struggle slightly on overcast or very cloudy days, but after sitting outside in the elements for 2 years straight - we couldn't be more pleased. The lenses are beginning to fog slightly, but we haven't noticed any difference in quality of light thus far. It runs every day, nearly 365 days a year. Compared to more expensive options from the big box stores, you simply can't beat it. Cheap, easy to install, easy to setup, and most definitely lasts long enough to be cost-effective. ... show more

We bought these to deter animals in the back of our yard. Even tho the animals are smart and don't real care if they trigger them at least we are able to see what is happening in our backyard on the camera better. They are very bright. The distance for triggering them is very good. I hope they last long cause they have been a great addition to our yard at night.. ... show more
