  • Excellent Quality and Easy Setup
Color: Speckled Gray Size: 1 Doorbell Configuration: Doorbell only
I purchased the Ring Battery Doorbell (2nd Gen) for my mom, and she absolutely loves it. The picture quality is clear and sharp, making it easy for her to see who’s at the door both during the day and at night. Setup was straightforward, and the app is easy to use. It gives our family extra peace of mind knowing she can see and communicate with visitors from anywhere. Overall, it’s been a great purchase, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable video doorbell. ... show more

  • Very Worth It
Color: Speckled Gray Size: 1 Doorbell Configuration: Doorbell only
Honestly for it being under $60 I am very impressed. This camera has been excellent for me and the set up process was SO simple. I’m a 21 year old woman with not the best survival skills lol and living on my own for the first time so i knew I needed some sort of camera for my door and I am so thankful I chose Ring because it’s given incredible reassurance on my own, and my unit’s, safety all the time. The recording quality is great, the audio is great, set up was SO simple and easy and honestly the thing that took the longest was just making sure it was fully charged before putting it up. I will lyk though that whenever (at least on my phone) whenever I fill screen live mode it kind of fish lenses the view (like slightly 0.5 view) but I like it because that just increases the field of vision horizontally but it does get rid of a maybe a foot vertically in full screen live view mode. The neighborhood app feature on it is very useful especially for storm updates very local to ur neighborhood and lost pet updates. Regular day vision is fantastic and is just a clear with the night vision feature when it is dark out, with and without porch light on. So far, the battery life has been great and let me tell you lol, I literally dropped the camera, CAMERA SIDE DOWN, on my dining room floor when I first got it, and was so scared I must’ve broken something😭 but nope! The camera is crazily sturdy lol. 😂 Will splurge with ring again when I need another camera ... show more

  • Great addition to Ring.
Color: Speckled Gray Size: 1 Doorbell Configuration: Doorbell only
This has been a great addition to our home cameras. Works with our FireTV, Echo Show 15, also with any device running the Alexa App. It was easy to install and add to the Ring app. Great settings for notifications and motion detection. Great price during the Prime Days. Camera quality is good even in night mode. Easy to set up and change settings right out of the box. You will need to charge it before you install it. Doesn’t not come with charging cable. ... show more

  • Outstanding Performance and picture
Color: Matte Mocha Size: 1 Doorbell Configuration: Doorbell only
I have to admit I was very surprised at the quality and quality of the ring doorbell the unit seems very solid, the picture it produces is fantastic, and I love the field of view is outstanding, I would recommend it to anyone looking for something that works great. The only sad thing is it takes for ever to charge the battery one, at least 10 hours, but I’m sure it will last a very long time ... show more

  • Crystal Clear Video and a Huge Upgrade
Color: Speckled Gray Size: 1 Doorbell Configuration: Doorbell only
I’ve used Ring products for years, and this newest Battery Doorbell is a noticeable improvement. The 2K video quality is incredibly sharp, making it much easier to identify faces, packages, and vehicles. The enhanced zoom is another feature I didn’t realize I’d appreciate until I started using it. It arrived quickly and was well packaged. Installation was straightforward, and connecting it to the Ring app only took a few minutes. The wide-angle view captures much more of my front porch than my previous doorbell, which means fewer blind spots. Motion detection has been reliable, notifications come through quickly, and the rechargeable battery makes installation simple without having to run wiring. If you’re already in the Ring ecosystem or looking for your first smart doorbell, this is an excellent upgrade. The improved video quality and wider field of view make a noticeable difference in everyday use. ... show more

  • A very good basic doorbell camera
Color: Speckled Gray Size: 1 Doorbell Configuration: Doorbell only
I would give it 5 stars IF Ring offered a legible user's manual and/or offered "how to" videos on its website. I have gotten a better user's manual with an electric toothbrush; the one included in the Ring box tells a user nothing of value and the font is incredibly small. For exz., it says to charge the camera but does not tell you where the charging port is or how to access it. The user is to install the Ring app but it doesn't tell you where to find it, amazingly, not on the Ring website. The AI response I got was totally wrong about where the charging port is located. It is located on the back of the camera under a tiny little piece of removable rubber, no way I would have found it without YouTube. The initial charge took almost 4 hours using high speed 5g WiFi. I miss the section for user reviews in which others could relate problems they encountered and how they fixed them...I HATE the AI generated answers and know many other shoppers do too. Happily there are YouTube videos that save the day. The camera itself is a 5 star, setting it up was relatively easy, but it will be an ongoing series of adjustments until I finally get it configured the way I want it. Mounting it is another story. There are two screw holes but the package only included one screw. There is mention of an alternative mounting using double sided tape but, the camera is quite heavy, much heavier than my Samsung Galaxy phone, and I fear tape would not support it. My door and door frame are metal so the one screw they included won't work anyway. I do not like the fact that to get any real benefit from the camera I will have to buy at least a basic subscription but I knew that before I bought it, I just don't like it. If you are shopping for a doorbell camera, this is a good basic option but take the time to look at other cameras and watch multiple YouTube videos before you take the plunge. UPDATE: I have had the camera for a week and am still trying to figure out how to use it. The camera itself is fine but there are no instructions as to how to actually use it. I have no idea how to save a video should I need to, for exz., I have no idea how to save a video or to export it should I need to. I've searched the Ring website and it is mostly a sales vehicle. Amazon used to have a Q&A feature in which othe users could respond to questions but I can't find one for Ring, the Amazon AI is useless for most things. ... show more

  • Pretty satisfied with the purchase
Color: Speckled Gray Size: 1 Doorbell Configuration: Doorbell only
It has a great picture and notification system. Very happy with it. The recordings are clear and sharp. The doorbell feature is nice and I have no problems with connection, as long as my WiFi is working. I was worried about the cost, but I got exactly what I needed at a great cost. One thing I will mention is that you cannot change the battery out. In order to charge it, you have to pull the doorbell off. I did use the no drill mount. There is a solar panel that you can get, but you cannot use the solar panel and the no drill mount at the same time. The battery seems to be lasting a long time. I have it set to record more than recommended, so it says my battery is being drained more quickly, and that may be accurate. It’s dropped 10% (95% to 85%) after two weeks of use. ... show more

  • Camera works well. Mount does not.
Color: Speckled Gray Size: 1 Doorbell Configuration: Doorbell only
Mounting bracket is junk. Like the other items in the Ring family it takes forever to charge. I have a security system also so am familiar with Ring's tendency to make you play seek and find for installation and use instructions. However, it is also common sense and straight forward once you get past your initial head scratches. When the QR code is scanned it recognized everything in my system and set up to my network was easy once I entered my password to initialize. Once initially set up and mounted Ring products work well and are mostly maintenance free. Trim and where my door is located makes it a cramped space to mount and I broke the cheezy tab at the bottom of the mount trying to get it seated after getting it charged. My app (Android phone) did update and not crazy about how it moved things around for the rest of my system but it is usable and seems to have the same info available just different format so you'll play a bit of seek and find on your security system finding sensor battery health, doors open? type things. It moves sensor info and health into a sub folder of the base but no clues it did that so you go in to button pushing seek and find mode so annoying but not a deal breaker. Debated and still sort of think it deserves to lose a star and be a solid 3 stars due to the mount which I'm already hunting down to replace. ... show more
