  • WILL IT WORK?
Size: 48" Light Strip
I bought for my 23 Ford Maverick. (Not built yet but soon.) This one features amber directional turn signals. I thought I may have to buy a signal adapter for cars that have separate turn and brake light bulbs. I plugged it into my Ford Focus and checked the parking lights. Worked. Checked the right turn. Worked. Checked left turn. Worked. My question was will the amber lights come on while applying the brake. I was worried. Turned on key pushed brake and it lit up RED. Yeah! Emergency flashers flash Amber. So if you want a extra set of lights for safety buy these. I read on Maverick Truck Club plenty of the trucks are getting rear ended. Nearly a year of waiting I sure don't want someone not noticing me stopping. I may have to hard wire into the truck since people say you loose your back up camera parking lines because the truck thinks you have a trailer hooked up. I purchased the crimp free butt splices. Work great melts the soldier and waterproof seals the wires. ... show more

  • Stop working
Size: 48" Light Strip
I can see the manufactures, not fixing the issues and errors on this product. I’ll probably will be forced to buy again my led strip finally stopped working so its is not the professional installation done this solely lies on and the manufacturer who is building it word to the wise and the manufactures stop cheating your customers make a decent product and fix the issues stop pumping out orders, or there’s some of the people getting a good LED strips and there’s some people are not when sending this product have it put in lying down straight into a box that is evenly match of the length of the LED strip and not rolling it up. You are damaging your own product and taking the customers money 30 days is too quick and not long enough to return or have this model tested. I am giving you a thumbs down because now I will be forced to buy another one and figure out your own errors that you are not fixing the problem. ... show more

  • Looks/works great but shipping causes installation issues
Size: 60" Light Strip
Light assembly is shipped rolled up for obvious reasons. The issue is that when unrolled, even after letting sit overnight on the bench and held down, the adhesive side of the light was then cupped inwards towards the light and only had the very top and bottom edge of it touching the truck bed when installing. You really can’t push the center against the bed due to damaging the light. I decided to put a few drops of super glue along the edges and then install. I have had it installed for several months now with no issues. All LEDs still working as they should. ... show more

  • 4-pin harness too short
Size: 60" Light Strip
The light is bright and should have been easy to install. The glue on the back of the light sticks after cleaning and it’s tight. My truck has several areas that are not flat I was concerned about but between the flex in the lights and the glue it shouldn’t come off. I have the 60” strip. The harness from the end of the strip to the 4-pin connector was too short. It barely reached by running on outside of bumper. I had to solder in a 24 inch extension. That introduced 8 additional stress points in the wiring. ... show more

  • Great So Far
Size: 60" Light Strip
First Day Review: I bought the 3 row, 60" strips a few weeks back and just installed them last night on my 2016 F150 XLT Super Crew. I liked them so far. Here are some thoughts: - 4-pin Trailer Harness: Before installing anything, I wanted to test out the 4pin harness connection. I opened the box that the LEDs came in and pugged them right into my 4 pin trailer hookup. All the signals and LEDs worked, but there seemed to be a delay. For example, when the flashers were on, the amber lights on the LED strip would come on a split second too late and not finish before another blink was fired. It was off. Next, I drove around for about 20 minutes with the trailer connection and the LEDs in my bed. I kept receiving trailer connecting and trailer disconnected messages. So I did not use the 4pin harness. - Wiring: I did not use the 4pin connector and did not want to splice into the wires in the trailer hookup wiring. Instead, I spliced the wires at the driver's side backlights (for power, left blink, reverse and ground) and the passenger side (for right blinker). I ran new wires down to a central point near the driver's side. I had to do a few searches to find which color wire was what... but once I did it all came together easily. Not sure if this approach was best, but it worked for me. I will need to go back later and make sure the wiring is 100% watertight with some type of a junction box. And I need to add some protective plastic shielding where the wires touch metal. But I just wanted to get this done last night. - Installing the LED Strip: The strip comes wrapped around itself, in a small-ish box. When I was ready to install them on the truck they kept trying to roll back up... this made it tough to do (more about this below). If I was to do this again I would have laid them out for a few hours (or overnight) so they flatten out. Before installing I cleaned the bed thoroughly with soap/water, a degreaser, and made sure it was dry. Once clean I used took time to center the strip and placing a small piece of electrical tape onto the bed of the truck and the strip to know where the center point is in case it moved. I started on the side of the drive, peeling off a little tape. I applied a bead of rtv silicone adhesive to the bed and pushed the stip against the bed, holding it there for a minute or 2. I worked my way across the bed, ensuring it was lined up/even with the bottom of the tailgate (where I thought it looked best. I had some issues with the beginning of the strip pulling up by the time I go to the end. And then I had issues with the end once I went back to the beginning. I ended up jamming a roll of electrical tape on both ends for an hour or so to ensure it stayed. - Overall: They are super bright. That is both awesome and might be weird. Awesome for more visibility to bad drivers around me. And being able to back up with more light is great. Weird because of them just being too obnoxious. If someone in the car behind me is blinded, that sucks. I may need to have a buddy drive the truck while I drive a car to see. Again I dig these so far. I will update with pictures and more thoughts as I have them. ... show more

Size: 48" Light Strip
Product works great, adhesive is very strong. Be prepared as you do have to hard wire the reverse light.
