I purchased this in 2019 and have used it for 4 holiday seasons. It has worked perfectly. The lights are bright and nicely cover the front of my house. I noticed at a neighbouring house that the lights were being projected onto a tree and it looked really cool, so I am going to get another one. Highly recommended. Product has worked flawlessly through rain, shine, snow and winds. It is worth the high price. This projector light is the best I’ve seen. Picture a 3 color firefly show and that’s what it is. The projector gives a generous wide angle so it covers a pretty large area. The lit area is bright and is not faded out like some projector systems I’ve seen. The neighbor has a different projection system and side by side you can see a huge difference. This is not the cheapest system you’ll find on Amazon, but it is head and shoulders the best one you can get. I never write reviews, but I did so much research before getting this light, I wanted to share my experience with others who are looking. This light is exactly what you should get if you're looking for the 'firefly effect.' The tiny lights look perfect in the trees. They are bright, and they move gracefully. I wanted something for my house that resembled what I'd seen at a botanic garden outdoor holiday stroll. This light provides exactly that effect. I highly recommend it. ... show more

    • 24/7 for a full year with some minor issues but overall delightful! Definitely a great purchase!
I bought two of these and have had them out and running 24/7 for a full year now. They've been in sun, rain, snow, 100-degrees and -30 degrees and just WORK, faithfully. Minor points are that the remote is adequate enough (I mean, it does work, but feels like it cost 0.25 - which is probably did, and that's fine) and that probably because of the remote, the timer function doesn't work reliably. That's why they've been on 24/7 and that's also just fine; a testament to their overall durability! A bigger caveat is that the red dots are few and far between, and the blue dots are even rarer! This means that the light show is 99.9% green dots, with an occasional red or blue here and there. That said, these are a-m-a-z-i-n-g and bring constant joy to our night garden. Guests and neighbors alike have comments on how beautiful and dazzling they are... that they look like thousands of fireflies in the trees. So unless you have your heart set on lots or red and blue, definitely buy them because they create a gorgeous nighttime light show, and they have worked non-stop for over a year! I don't know if the lasers will age or "wear out" but if/when they do, I'll be buying another set because they make us happy to look at every single night. ... show more

We bought this light 2 years ago and overall it has worked great. Very solid light that has done well in bad weather. The remote works well. Glad we purchased this light. NOTE: this year though our light stopped working, We contacted Poeland and explained to them it was not working, and they felt the Power Adapter went bad. So even though we bought the light over two years ago, they sent us a new power adapter to try for free. And it works! They gave some good advice that if storing the light for more than 3 months at a time, to use the light for 4 hours every three months.... AND: looking through all the reviews, I am NOT a reviewer who goes by Dr. Mark! They left a nasty review, undeserved. ... show more

Two years ago, I bought two of these lights, and within a month of one and three months of the other both lights failed. When I reached out to Ben had them replaced, and then shortly there after they failed again. After providing various pieces of information per his request it would determine the inline power adapter had possibly failed and he sent me replacements. That did the trick after not receiving a prompt reply to my email. My wife encouraged me to buy two more as she really liked the firefly effect for our front and backyard. After trying again to contact them he responded and even tried to prove that he had received my earlier email. At this point in time all he was willing to do was provide me a link for a 50% discount on the in-line power adapters. He also provided information that if they had not been used for several months that that to would be a potential cause of the power adapter failure. I explained to him several times that my lights were on every single night of the year for five hours. I have not been assured that the replacement in-line adapters would be the same as the new ones provided in the kits I received two years later , they are substantially larger. I also did not receive any assurance that even the new power adapters with nightly use as I use them will ask more than two years so as a result, within two years, I’ve spent over $500 for four lights, so time will tell and we’ll see if Ben is any more supportive of his product. The star rating is not reflective of the enjoyment we receive from this product. It is for the lack of the quality of the product being able to last more than 20 to 24 months if it happens again we’ll look for our options at that point. ... show more
