This light is awesome! It works exactly as stated. We have a huge acorn tree in our front yard that is to huge to wrap in lights and this light brought it to life! Its bright and noticeable down the street and very eye catching. I bought another one for our whole wood line. Also it has a huge coverage area. Love this light!

I don't know why I did not know about these type lights earlier. We were traveling a saw some at a resort. They were using them to light up their landscaping. They really caught my eye and looked great. Our home is a corner lot. We set up icicle type lights around the eaves. They wrap around the light up two sides. Same with the net lights and string lights we use on the scrubs around the yard and the courtyard. But, we have three trees that I do not light up. I do not want to climb ladders and try to wrap lights around the trees. But, they really should have lights. I though these might be the perfect solution, and they are. I purchased one as a test, but now will order a couple more to light up the rest of the trees. Set them at the base of the tree, they light it up all the way to the top. The moving lights twinkle just right. Perfect, quick and easy. The POE lights seemed like quality lights and they are. The include a stake, extensions and a base to mount. I use the stakes into the ground, but they also have a base for hard surfaces and they can be secured to fences, etc. Includes a cable lock to secure the light. It was very easy to set up, remote works great. These are really effective and eye catching!

After some research on three-color laser projectors, I decided on this one (Model X-33P-B(RGB). In general, I'm very happy with it. But I'm hoping the lasers last for more than one season. I understand this is an issue. Also, I've had lasers in two prior laser lights (from a different manufacturer) burn out after one season. Pros: - Nice bright and focused points of light, in various patterns - Steel cable to help keep it from getting stolen, along with decent mounting hardware - Responsive support personnel via email, along with their website - While the red & green lasers were bright enough, the blue laser wasn't, even though it had the same power as the red laser (probably due to the human eye not being sensitive enough to blue light). Hence, I'd like to see about a 50% power boost to the blue laser. Cons: - Instead of a green dot, the green dot it was split into three dots. The e-mail agent said it was a defective unit, and refunded my purchase price. I immediately ordered another unit, which didn't have this problem. - The remote is nicely sized, and has all the useful controls I need. BUT, the buttons on it are unreliable: I had to press them from 1 to 6 times to get them to work. So few of these laser lights give a good demo of what you can expect. Hence, I decided to create one. In the attached video, the laser light is mounted on a tree about 8' high and about 20' from our house. I sat on a lawn chair in the evening and recorded all the display modes (except for hours-on times). It's not easy to see, but almost the entire front of our house was covered. Impressive!

Easy to setup and mesmerizing to watch! It’s especially cool when projecting on ferns and palm trees. It almost looks like you had strung Christmas lights in the trees. I love the complex motion pattern compared to cheaper lights. I saw some reviews on YouTube that lead me here. I had to screw the base to piece of wood so it wouldn’t flip over in certain positions since I put it on the patio. It also comes with a stake to put it into the ground. It also came with a nice long extension cord. The provided security cable lock was a great idea but the Kensington(laptop type) lock quickly jammed so had to cut the steel cable. The remote control can control individual RGB colors, speed, flashing, auto mode and a daily timer function. It came in box labeled “Garden Lights”. I guess that’s to avoid the word “Laser” that could be restricted in some jurisdictions. Just got to be careful to not let the bright stray laser beams hit eyes of passing pedestrians, vehicles, neighbor windows or shoot into the sky where it could hit low flying aircraft. One of my neighbors commented about my laser lights saying “you gonna beat everyone in the neighborhood”. I don’t think so but it does attract a lot of attention. It’s relaxing to watch and chill out.

All three RGB colors nice and bright. Have two pointing on our white house and snow, dark country environment = ideal. They are mounted on a shed disjoint from the house so all I need do is turn them on and off --- for years of use. In cold weather (25F) the green laser takes some warm-up before it lights up... couple of minutes --- so far OK. "Wakes Up" with slowly moving pattern when I plug them in, which is my favorite pattern anyway. I don't use the remote controllers --- too much of a bother and too many selections. Thankfully, it functions fine without the controller, as described above. Runs OK 24/7, although they recommend resting it periodically --- which makes no sense to me. Uses very little power. Visible at night, but not in the daytime --- fine.

Two years ago, I bought two of these lights, and within a month of one and three months of the other both lights failed. When I reached out to Ben had them replaced, and then shortly there after they failed again. After providing various pieces of information per his request it would determine the inline power adapter had possibly failed and he sent me replacements. That did the trick after not receiving a prompt reply to my email. My wife encouraged me to buy two more as she really liked the firefly effect for our front and backyard. After trying again to contact them he responded and even tried to prove that he had received my earlier email. At this point in time all he was willing to do was provide me a link for a 50% discount on the in-line power adapters. He also provided information that if they had not been used for several months that that to would be a potential cause of the power adapter failure. I explained to him several times that my lights were on every single night of the year for five hours. I have not been assured that the replacement in-line adapters would be the same as the new ones provided in the kits I received two years later , they are substantially larger. I also did not receive any assurance that even the new power adapters with nightly use as I use them will ask more than two years so as a result, within two years, I’ve spent over $500 for four lights, so time will tell and we’ll see if Ben is any more supportive of his product. The star rating is not reflective of the enjoyment we receive from this product. It is for the lack of the quality of the product being able to last more than 20 to 24 months if it happens again we’ll look for our options at that point.
