    • Excellent color patterns and brightness, but an issue with the remote control
After some research on three-color laser projectors, I decided on this one (Model X-33P-B(RGB). In general, I'm very happy with it. But I'm hoping the lasers last for more than one season. I understand this is an issue. Also, I've had lasers in two prior laser lights (from a different manufacturer) burn out after one season. Pros: - Nice bright and focused points of light, in various patterns - Steel cable to help keep it from getting stolen, along with decent mounting hardware - Responsive support personnel via email, along with their website - While the red & green lasers were bright enough, the blue laser wasn't, even though it had the same power as the red laser (probably due to the human eye not being sensitive enough to blue light). Hence, I'd like to see about a 50% power boost to the blue laser. Cons: - Instead of a green dot, the green dot it was split into three dots. The e-mail agent said it was a defective unit, and refunded my purchase price. I immediately ordered another unit, which didn't have this problem. - The remote is nicely sized, and has all the useful controls I need. BUT, the buttons on it are unreliable: I had to press them from 1 to 6 times to get them to work. So few of these laser lights give a good demo of what you can expect. Hence, I decided to create one. In the attached video, the laser light is mounted on a tree about 8' high and about 20' from our house. I sat on a lawn chair in the evening and recorded all the display modes (except for hours-on times). It's not easy to see, but almost the entire front of our house was covered.     • A Perfect Solution
I don't know why I did not know about these type lights earlier. We were traveling a saw some at a resort. They were using them to light up their landscaping. They really caught my eye and looked great. Our home is a corner lot. We set up icicle type lights around the eaves. They wrap around the light up two sides. Same with the net lights and string lights we use on the scrubs around the yard and the courtyard. But, we have three trees that I do not light up. I do not want to climb ladders and try to wrap lights around the trees. But, they really should have lights. I though these might be the perfect solution, and they are. I purchased one as a test, but now will order a couple more to light up the rest of the trees. Set them at the base of the tree, they light it up all the way to the top. The moving lights twinkle just right. Perfect, quick and easy. The POE lights seemed like quality lights and they are. The include a stake, extensions and a base to mount. I use the stakes into the ground, but they also have a base for hard surfaces and they can be secured to fences, etc. Includes a cable lock to secure the light. It was very easy to set up, remote works great. These are really effective and eye catching! ... show more

    • 24/7 for a full year with some minor issues but overall delightful! Definitely a great purchase!
I bought two of these and have had them out and running 24/7 for a full year now. They've been in sun, rain, snow, 100-degrees and -30 degrees and just WORK, faithfully. Minor points are that the remote is adequate enough (I mean, it does work, but feels like it cost 0.25 - which is probably did, and that's fine) and that probably because of the remote, the timer function doesn't work reliably. That's why they've been on 24/7 and that's also just fine; a testament to their overall durability! A bigger caveat is that the red dots are few and far between, and the blue dots are even rarer! This means that the light show is 99.9% green dots, with an occasional red or blue here and there. That said, these are a-m-a-z-i-n-g and bring constant joy to our night garden. Guests and neighbors alike have comments on how beautiful and dazzling they are... that they look like thousands of fireflies in the trees. So unless you have your heart set on lots or red and blue, definitely buy them because they create a gorgeous nighttime light show, and they have worked non-stop for over a year! I don't know if the lasers will age or "wear out" but if/when they do, I'll be buying another set because they make us happy to look at every single night. ... show more

This light is awesome! It works exactly as stated. We have a huge acorn tree in our front yard that is to huge to wrap in lights and this light brought it to life! Its bright and noticeable down the street and very eye catching. I bought another one for our whole wood line. Also it has a huge coverage area. Love this light! ... show more

    • Lights sparkle in the trees across the street
I tried to take a video but my phone cannot capture the sparkles in the trees but the show of the Poeland Christmas Laser Light is just glorious and the distance goes way out across the street high up to the tops of the trees. It's just amazingly beautiful. The cheaper one I originally purchased was only half the price and the light disc broke after one use so we returned it but it didn't shine the distance of this one and had a lot of plastic parts that clearly won't hold up long term. This one is double the price but is a nice metal sturdy light that states it works in sub zero temperatures outside with a long heavy duty outdoor cord and a great remote with batteries included. I highly recommend paying the extra for it based on the quality of the product I have received. ... show more

    • PERFECT --- up and running
All three RGB colors nice and bright. Have two pointing on our white house and snow, dark country environment = ideal. They are mounted on a shed disjoint from the house so all I need do is turn them on and off --- for years of use. In cold weather (25F) the green laser takes some warm-up before it lights up... couple of minutes --- so far OK. "Wakes Up" with slowly moving pattern when I plug them in, which is my favorite pattern anyway. I don't use the remote controllers --- too much of a bother and too many selections. Thankfully, it functions fine without the controller, as described above. Runs OK 24/7, although they recommend resting it periodically --- which makes no sense to me. Uses very little power. Visible at night, but not in the daytime --- fine. ... show more
